This set contains 10 original DURAN ® Erlenmeyer flasks with a nominal volume of 1000 ml (1 litre). This size is indispensable for the preparation of culture media, the preparation of stock solutions or as a transfer vessel. The standardised narrow-neck design (DIN ISO 1773) reduces contact with the outside air, minimises evaporation and allows for safe swirling without spillage.

DURAN ® Borosilicate glass 3.3 – robustness in continuous use

Manufactured from high-quality borosilicate glass 3.3, these flasks offer excellent chemical resistance and high thermal resilience. The uniform wall thickness guarantees mechanical stability, even during intensive use on hotplates or magnetic stirrers. The flasks are fully autoclavable (121 °C / 134 °C) and are therefore ideally suited for sterile applications.

Quality, safety and traceability

The reinforced flared rim protects the mouth of the flask from mechanical damage. Each flask is marked with a Retrace Code, which enables complete batch traceability (certificate available online). The clearly legible scale, made of fired white ceramic, and the large labelling area facilitate precise work and permanent labelling in the laboratory.
