Safety: ignition-source-free interior in accordance with the ATEX Directive The drawer version also features a non-sparking interior and, according to the type plate, is classified as ‘II 3/-G Ex ec IIC T6 Gc/-’ in accordance with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU; the harmonised standards are EN IEC 60079-0:2018 and EN 60079-15:2010. The unit is authorised for the storage of research samples, reagents, laboratory equipment and chemicals such as ethanol, acetone or isopropanol, provided their flash point is above temperature class T6, i.e. above 85 °C. Chemically unstable substances, as well as blood, plasma or other bodily fluids intended for infusion, are expressly excluded from storage. The explosion protection applies exclusively to the interior of the unit: according to the operating instructions, the unit itself is not intended for installation in potentially explosive atmospheres; the installation site must be located outside an Ex zone. Temperature control and cooling capacity The static cooling system ensures uniform cooling within the adjustable range of -9 °C to -30 °C, with a temperature gradient of 7.4 °C and a maximum fluctuation of 3.3 °C. Defrosting is carried out manually; the refrigerant used is the natural R 600a with a charge of 60 g. The permissible ambient temperature at the installation site is between +10 °C and +35 °C; annual energy consumption is 180 kWh. With a sound power level of 40 dB(A), the unit is barely noticeable during everyday laboratory use, even when positioned directly within the workspace. Interior fitted with three plastic drawers Instead of open shelving, this version features three plastic drawers in which samples, reagents or batches can be stored separately and clearly organised, without having to open the other drawers when removing one. As with the shelving version, the maximum total load capacity is 120 kg. An antimicrobial handle with an opening mechanism makes operation easier even when wearing laboratory gloves; a mechanical lock, including two keys, secures the interior; and the door hinge is on the right-hand side but can be reversed. A 10 mm diameter sensor feed-through allows an external temperature sensor to be inserted, for example for independent temperature monitoring. Controls, Alarms and Networking Operation is via a monochrome display with touch buttons. In the event of a fault, the unit issues visual and audible alerts; following a power cut, it automatically alerts the user when power is restored, making an unnoticed interruption to the cold chain less likely. A potential-free contact with a rating of up to 8.0 A at a maximum of 30 V DC is provided for connection to an external building management system or alarm system. Via the SmartModule system, the unit can also be networked via Wi-Fi or LAN; both interfaces can be retrofitted as optional extras and enable centralised recording and documentation of temperature data. Suitable for cleanrooms in GMP environments With ISO Class 7 in accordance with ISO EN 14664-1 and GMP Class B, the drawer version of the SFTfg 1501 is also suitable for applications with heightened cleanroom requirements, such as in pharmaceutical quality control or in research areas with corresponding documentation requirements. Typical areas of application Sorted deep-freeze storage of flammable samples and reagents by batch or project Chemistry and pharmaceutical laboratories requiring separate storage in individual drawers Cleanroom and GMP environments requiring temperature monitoring subject to documentation requirements Research facilities requiring frequent access to individual sample stocks The three drawers make day-to-day work easier, particularly where individual samples or reagents need to be accessed frequently without having to survey the entire interior each time: each drawer can be pulled out independently, whilst the rest of the interior remains cold and sealed. Design, dimensions and connections With external dimensions of 59.7 x 60.5 x 81.9 cm (W x D x H) and a net weight of 39 kg (gross 41 kg), the SFTfg 1501 can be permanently installed in the laboratory as a floor-standing unit or freestanding unit. Liebherr SCFfg 4002 Laboratory Fridge-freezer, Ignition-source-free Interior, ATEX, 261 l, 994341451
A laboratory fridge-freezer with special safety features is required for the storage of flammable substances that may create explosive atmospheres. The Liebherr SCFfg 4002 laboratory fridge-freezer combination complies with the ATEX Directive and, according to the type plate, has an interior free from ignition sources. It combines maximum cooling capacity with reliable temperature stability. The housing and door are made of steel, whilst the inner compartment is made of plastic.Technology and cooling performanceThe dynamic cooling system in the fridge compartment ensures even temperature distribution, and defrosting takes place automatically. The fridge compartment operates in the range from +3 °C to +16 °C, whilst the freezer compartment operates from -9 °C to -30 °C, in each case at a permissible ambient temperature of +10 °C to 35 °C. Both temperatures are displayed digitally on the outside. R 600a is used as the refrigerant (charge: 75 g), an environmentally friendly choice with low global warming potential. In the event of a fault, the unit emits visual and audible warnings, ensuring that temperature deviations are immediately noticeable. Via a retrofittable Wi-Fi/LAN interface, the fridge-freezer can be integrated into an existing laboratory network if required.Safety: ATEX-compliant, ignition-source-free interiorThe ignition-source-free interior makes the SCFfg 4002 the ideal choice for laboratories that need to store flammable solvents, chemicals or other substances where no ignition sources are permitted inside the unit. For example, in a chemistry or analytical laboratory, this ensures the safe storage of flammable reagents during routine operations without having to resort to separate refrigeration and freezing units. As both temperature zones are housed in a single unit, the appliance also saves floor space compared with two separate units, which is an advantage in laboratories with limited floor space.Interior layout and ease of useIn the refrigeration compartment, five glass shelves, each with a load capacity of 40 kg, ensure stable, easily accessible storage; the freezer compartment features three shelves. The antimicrobial handle with integrated opening mechanism makes operation easier, even when wearing gloves, as is common in everyday laboratory work, and reduces the transmission of germs at a frequently touched part of the appliance. The door hinge is on the right but can be reversed, allowing the appliance to be flexibly adapted to the available space. The fridge compartment defrosts automatically, whilst the freezer compartment is defrosted manually. One unit for two temperature zonesWith a net capacity of 261 l (377 l gross) and a height of 204.4 cm, the SCFfg 4002 offers significantly more usable interior space than a standard fridge or freezer of the same footprint, as the fridge and freezer compartments are housed one above the other in a single cabinet. For laboratories that require both refrigerated and deep-frozen storage for flammable or combustible substances, but do not have space for two separate ignition-source-free units, this is the more space-saving solution compared to a dedicated freezer such as the SFFfg series. On the other hand, those who require exclusively deep-freeze storage without a refrigeration compartment and wish to have more freezer space are better served by a dedicated ignition-source-free freezer.Manufacture and originThe SCFfg 4002 is manufactured at the Liebherr plant in Lienz, Austria, where it succeeds the previous model, the LCexv 4010. As part of the ‘Performance’ segment of Liebherr laboratory equipment, it is positioned in the premium specification range, featuring digital temperature monitoring in both zones and a retrofittable network connection.Typical applicationsThe SCFfg 4002 comes into its own wherever flammable or combustible substances need to be stored under both refrigerated and deep-frozen conditions:Chemistry and analytical laboratories: refrigerated and frozen storage of flammable solvents and reagentsCombined refrigeration and freezer storage where there is no space for two separate unitsQuality control and research involving substances that require an ignition-source-free environmentLaboratory areas connected to a central network for temperature monitoringFor example, in a testing laboratory, a solvent can be stored at +5 °C and a frozen reference sample at -20 °C in the same ignition-source-free cabinet, without the need to purchase and monitor two separate units.Technical detailsNet chamber volume261 lGross chamber volume377 lTemperature range (refrigerator compartment)+3 °C to +16 °CTemperature range, freezer compartment-9 °C to -30 °CAmbient temperature (commercial)+10 °C to 35 °CCooling system (refrigerated compartment)Dynamic, automatic defrostDefrosting method for freezer compartmentManualRefrigerantR 600a, charge 75 gHousing / DoorSteelInner containerWhite plasticShelves in the fridge compartment5 x glass, load capacity 40 kgShelves in the freezer compartment3HandleAntimicrobial handle with opening mechanismDoor hingeright-hand, reversibleDimensions H/W/D204.4 / 59.7 / 65.4 cmInternal dimensions H/W/D103.7 / 46.0 / 42.2 cmNet weight84.00 kgPower supply220-240 V, 2.0 A, 50/60 HzEnergy consumption390 kWh/yearScope of delivery1x Liebherr SCFfg 4002 laboratory fridge-freezer, ready for useIndividual requirements and procurement serviceDo you need spare parts, additional storage space or advice on the right networking solution for your laboratory? Liebherr SCFvh 4002 Laboratory Fridge-freezer, 994299951
Anyone who needs to store items in both the fridge and freezer compartments in the laboratory often requires two appliances, more floor space and two separate maintenance schedules. The Liebherr SCFvh 4002 combines both temperature zones in a single unit: a refrigeration compartment from +3 °C to +16 °C and a freezer compartment from -9 °C to -30 °C, each independently controllable and digitally monitored. This reduces the space required in the laboratory without compromising on temperature accuracy. As part of the Liebherr Perfection range, the unit is designed for laboratories with high standards regarding equipment and temperature monitoring. Two temperature zones, one unitWith a total gross volume of 384 l (264 l net), the SCFvh 4002 offers sufficient capacity in both the refrigeration and freezer compartments for samples, reagents and reference materials. Five storage shelves made of plastic-coated wire mesh, each with a load capacity of 45 kg, organise the refrigeration compartment, whilst three further shelves organise the freezer compartment. With external dimensions of 204.4 x 59.7 x 65.4 cm (H/W/D) and a net weight of 84.20 kg, this unit is a freestanding combination that can be accommodated in most laboratory spaces.Precise temperature control with alarm functionBoth compartments are displayed digitally and can be controlled independently of one another: the refrigeration compartment from +3 °C to +16 °C, and the freezer compartment from -9 °C to -30 °C. In the event of deviations from the set temperature or if a door is left open, the unit issues visual and audible warnings, ensuring that faults are detected at an early stage before stored materials are damaged. Automatic defrosting in both compartments keeps maintenance requirements to a minimum during operation.Designed for everyday laboratory useThe antimicrobial handle with opening mechanism is designed to meet the hygiene requirements of laboratory operations, whilst the white plastic inner chamber is easy to clean and disinfect. An LED light strip on the left illuminates the refrigeration compartment, whilst separate LED lighting illuminates the freezer compartment, ensuring that samples are clearly visible even in the rear areas. The mechanical lock with a reversible door hinge on the right secures the contents against unauthorised access.Practical benefits of the dual-zone solutionInstead of distributing refrigerated and frozen items across two separate units in different locations within the laboratory, both temperature zones can be managed in a single unit, the SCFvh 4002. This reduces walking distances in day-to-day laboratory work and makes it easier to keep track of samples when they are moved between refrigeration and freezer storage as required. For facilities with limited floor space, this can make all the difference in terms of whether additional storage space is available at all. The combination also pays off when it comes to procurement: rather than ordering, maintaining and, if necessary, replacing two separate units, a single point of contact and a single service appointment are sufficient for both temperature zones, which noticeably simplifies planning and budgeting in day-to-day laboratory operations.Successor with expanded functionalityThe SCFvh 4002 is the successor to the Liebherr LCv 4010 and continues its concept of combined refrigeration and freezer storage for laboratories, supplemented by the integrated, removable Wi-Fi/LAN solution and the antimicrobial handle with opening mechanism.Adjustable to individual requirementsAs the refrigeration and freezer compartments are controlled independently of one another, the unit can be flexibly adapted to different storage requirements, for example when more refrigeration capacity is needed than freezer capacity at times, or vice versa. This flexibility sets it apart from a combination of two individually sized units.Packaging and originLiebherr supplies the SCFvh 4002 packaged with dimensions of 61.5 x 72.5 x 208.0 cm and a gross weight of 89.50 kg; whilst the net weight of the unit once installed is 84.20 kg. The combination is manufactured at the Liebherr plant in Lienz.Networked monitoringAn integrated, removable Wi-Fi/LAN solution enables connection to a network monitoring system, allowing temperature trends in the fridge and freezer compartments to be documented, for example for quality assurance or internal audits. With an annual energy consumption of 277 kWh, the combination operates economically in continuous use.Typical applicationsThe SCFvh 4002 really comes into its own wherever samples need to be stored together at different temperatures and monitored continuously:Research laboratories: joint storage of samples with different temperature requirementsHospitals and medical facilities: storage of reagents and test kits in a single unitQuality assurance: documented temperature monitoring thanks to Wi-Fi/LAN connectivityLaboratories with limited floor space that need to combine refrigeration and freezingRetained sample storage with separately controllable temperature zonesTechnical detailsTotal net capacity264 lTotal gross capacity384 lTemperature range, fridge compartment+3 °C to +16 °CTemperature range, freezer compartment-9 °C to -30 °CCooling system (fridge compartment)DynamicDefrosting methodAutomatic (fridge and freezer compartments)RefrigerantR 600a, 50 g chargeEnergy consumption277 kWh/a (365 days)Connection220-240 V, 2.0 A / 183 W, 50/60 HzHousingSteelDoorSteelInner containerWhite plasticDimensions (H/W/D)204.4 / 59.7 / 65.4 cmInternal dimensions (H/W/D)103.7 / 46.0 / 42.3 cmNet weight84.20 kgShelf spaces in the fridge compartment5 x plastic-coated shelves, load capacity 45 kgShelf levels in freezer compartment3InterfaceWi-Fi/LAN, built-in, removableScope of delivery1x Liebherr SCFvh 4002 laboratory fridge-freezer, ready for useIndividual requirements and procurement serviceDo you need advice on the right equipment for your sample storage or on integrating it into an existing network monitoring system? Liebherr SFTsg 1501 Laboratory Tabletop Freezer, Static Cooling, 69 l, 994870151
Not every laboratory has space for a floor-to-ceiling freezer, but still needs reliable, constant deep-freeze storage for reagents and samples. The Liebherr SFTsg 1501 is a compact laboratory benchtop unit with static cooling, which maintains temperatures between -9 °C and -30 °C and, with a height of 81.9 cm, can be accommodated on a worktop or in a corner of a laboratory where space is limited. The SFTsg 1501 belongs to the Performance segment of Liebherr’s laboratory equipment and is available either with open shelves or in a version with three additional drawers; both versions feature the same basic static cooling technology. Technology and cooling capacity Cooling is static, and the temperature can be set within the range of -9 °C to -30 °C. In the event of a fault, the unit emits visual and audible warnings, ensuring that temperature deviations are noticed immediately, an important safety feature, particularly in smaller laboratories where a freezer is not constantly monitored visually. Via a retrofittable Wi-Fi/LAN interface, the benchtop freezer can be integrated into an existing laboratory network if required, to enable centralised documentation of temperature trends. Certification and cleanroom class The SFTsg 1501 is certified in accordance with IEC 60068-3, IEC 61010-1, IEC 61010-2-011 and IEC 61326-1, and meets cleanroom class ISO 7 in accordance with ISO EN 14644-1. According to the product data sheet, the unit complies with GMP Class B. Information regarding DIN 13277 certification, as held by the Perfection model SFTvh 1501, is available on request for the SFTsg 1501. Compact benchtop unit instead of a floor-standing unit With a height of 81.9 cm, the SFTsg 1501 is significantly more compact than the floor-standing units SFFfg 4001 and SFFsg 4001 from the Liebherrrange from LT Laborhandel, which, at 188.4 cm in height and with a net volume of 242 l, are designed for a different purpose. Where a floor-standing unit does not fit or where the available floor space is not to be fully utilised, the SFTsg 1501, with a net volume of 69 l, offers a compact alternative for smaller sample quantities, without having to compromise on the same static cooling technology and the same fault alarm system. Interior layout and ease of use Three storage shelves in the freezer compartment ensure organised storage; even in a compact space, test tubes and smaller storage boxes can be arranged clearly. The antimicrobial handle with an integrated opening mechanism makes operation easier, even when wearing gloves, as is common in everyday laboratory work. Defrosting is carried out manually, as with most laboratory freezers in this temperature class. Installation and connection With external dimensions of 81.9 x 59.7 x 60.5 cm (H x W x D) and a net weight of 35.70 kg, the SFTsg 1501 can be placed on a worktop, a sturdy base or in a corner of a laboratory with limited space, without the need to reserve a separate floor space at full room height. A standard laboratory power supply is sufficient for operation. As a benchtop unit, the SFTsg 1501 differs from the SFUfg/SFUsg under-counter units in the Liebherr range from LT Laborhandel, which are designed for front ventilation when integrated into furniture: The SFTsg 1501 is designed as a free-standing unit and does not require any special installation configuration. Manufacture and documentation The SFTsg 1501 is manufactured at the Liebherr plant in Lienz, which specialises in refrigeration and freezing technology for laboratories and the healthcare sector. Complete technical documentation is available for quality assurance and tenders in the laboratory sector, including a dedicated user manual and a dedicated product data sheet for this series, which provide clear documentation of the unit’s features. This simplifies the internal approval process when a laboratory wishes to procure a compact tabletop unit for deep-freeze storage without having to resort to a larger floor-standing unit. Typical applications The SFTsg 1501 is suitable for laboratories with limited space that nevertheless require reliable, statically cooled deep-freeze storage for reagents, enzymes or other temperature-sensitive samples, for example as a supplement to a larger floor-standing unit or as a stand-alone solution in smaller satellite or ancillary laboratories. Liebherr SRPvg laboratory fridge, Performance Series, steel door or double-glazed door, 480 to 1,091 litres
Anyone who needs to store large quantities of reagents, samples or chemicals at a cool temperature in the laboratory requires a laboratory fridge that performs reliably without needing to be readjusted every time a new batch is added. The Liebherr SRPvg laboratory refrigerator from the Performance series, available in three sizes ranging from 480 to 1,091 litres net volume and with a choice of steel or insulated glass doors, covers a wide range of laboratory requirements, offering temperature stability of ±3 °C and using the natural refrigerant R 290. Whether for central laboratory storage, quality assurance or sample storage within an institute: the model range can be selected to suit the required capacity and the desired door type. Temperature stability of ±3 °C with dynamic forced-air cooling A dynamic cooling system with forced-air circulation ensures even temperature distribution throughout the interior, even when the door is opened frequently during normal laboratory operations. Defrosting takes place automatically. Depending on the door variant, the adjustable temperature range is from -2 °C to +16 °C (steel door) or 0 °C to +16 °C (insulated glass door), with a temperature stability of ±3 °C – a hallmark of the Performance series. The permissible ambient temperature is from +10 °C to +35 °C. Should a fault occur, visual and audible alarms provide immediate notification. In the event of a power cut, the power failure alarm is triggered when power is restored, ensuring that any outage is detected retrospectively. The natural refrigerant R 290 (propane) is used, an environmentally friendly choice with low global warming potential. Operation, networking and security of the Performance Series The SRPvg is operated via a monochrome display with touch buttons, secured by a mechanical lock. A Wi-Fi/LAN interface can be retrofitted as an option, making the unit SmartModule-compatible for integration into a central monitoring system if required, without the need for the basic configuration to be pre-configured for this purpose. The connection cable is 3 m long; the rated current is 4.0 A, 220 to 240 V, 50 Hz. Unlike the Perfection Series SRPvh, the SRPvg does not include a data logger or alarm history as standard, but instead offers a streamlined operating concept for laboratories that do not require comprehensive digital documentation of the cold chain. Three sizes ranging from 480 to 1,091 litres The most compact model, the SRPvg 6501/6511, offers a net volume of 480 litres with four height-adjustable, plastic-coated storage shelves, each with a load capacity of 60 kg, and is suitable for smaller laboratory areas or as a supplement to an existing unit. The medium-sized model, the SRPvg 8401/8411, has a capacity of 702 litres and is also fitted with four storage shelves. The largest model, the SRPvg 1402/1412, offers a net volume of 1,091 litres and eight storage shelves, and is suitable for central laboratory storage facilities handling high volumes of reagents or samples – for example, where several daily samples or test series need to be temporarily stored simultaneously at the end of a working day. Steel door or insulated glass door: choice of door type as required On models 1402, 6501 and 8401, the door is made of solid steel; on models 1412, 6511 and 8411, it is made of insulated glass with a steel frame. If, during day-to-day laboratory work, you simply want to check briefly whether a compartment still has capacity or whether a batch has already been removed, with the insulated glass door you do not need to open the door to do so and do not risk unnecessary warming of the interior. On the largest model, the 1402/1412, the door hinge position is fixed – either left-hand or right-hand; on the two more compact models, the 6501/6511 and 8401/8411, it is reversible. Suitable for cleanrooms in accordance with ISO EN 14644-1 and GMP Class B The inner chamber is constructed entirely from 1.4301/AISI 304 chrome-nickel steel, which is easy to clean and resistant to most chemicals commonly used in laboratories. All six models are designed to be cleanroom-compatible in accordance with ISO EN 14644-1 Class 6 and, according to the data sheet, comply with GMP Class B. In addition, the units are certified to IEC 60068-3, IEC 61010-1, IEC 61010-2-011 and IEC 61326-1, as well as to Labgrade Energy Star. The sound power level is 60 dB. Typical applications The SRPvg laboratory refrigerator is suitable for use wherever laboratory chemicals, reagents or samples need to be stored reliably at a cool temperature, without the need for comprehensive digital documentation of the cold chain. For example, if a large number of daily samples or test series need to be temporarily stored at the end of a working day, the large 1,091-litre capacity provides sufficient space without the need to cram individual containers together or stack them in a haphazard manner. Liebherr SFPvh laboratory freezer, Perfection series, DIN 13277, -9 °C to -35 °C, 480 to 1,091 litres
Anyone who needs to store samples, reagents or reference samples that are subject to documentation requirements at sub-zero temperatures on a long-term basis will find it almost impossible to do without standard-compliant frozen storage. The Liebherr SFPvh laboratory freezer from the Perfection series – often referred to colloquially as a laboratory deep-freezer – is certified to DIN 13277 and, with three sizes offering net volumes ranging from 480 to 1,091 litres, covers a temperature range from -9 °C to -35 °C. An integrated USB data logger and a built-in Wi-Fi/LAN interface ensure a fully traceable cold chain, whilst the energy consumption of none of the three sizes exceeds that of the Performance model SFPvg of the same size. DIN 13277: standard-compliant freezer storage with documentation All three sizes of the SFPvh are designed in accordance with DIN 13277 for laboratory and pharmacy refrigeration and freezer units, as per the Liebherr certification list. According to Liebherr, the standard describes the requirements and test specifications for refrigeration and freezer units used in laboratories and for the storage of medicinal products. This is complemented by an integrated USB data logger, which continuously records temperature trends, and an alarm history that allows past faults to be traced. In the event of a power cut, the power failure alarm is triggered immediately – not just when power is restored – and remains buffered for at least 12 hours, ensuring that even an outage overnight or at the weekend is reliably documented. Ultra-efficient: never uses more energy than the Performance series Liebherr’s product range claim ‘Ultra-efficient’ applies to the entire Perfection Series; in the case of the SFPvh, this can be clearly demonstrated by the consumption figures: the SFPvh 6501 consumes 702 kWh per year compared with 774 kWh for the SFPvg 6501, the SFPvh 8401 consumes 748 kWh compared with 870 kWh for the SFPvg 8401. For the largest model, the 1402, both series are on a par at 1,162 kWh per year. Those who take advantage of the additional documentation reliability offered by the Perfection series will therefore actually pay lower electricity costs for two out of three models than with the more affordable Performance series. NoFrost circulating air cooling and access security A dynamic cooling system featuring forced-air cooling and NoFrost technology keeps the interior free from unwanted ice, whilst defrost cycles are demand-driven. The adjustable temperature range is from -9 °C to -35 °C, with a permissible ambient temperature of +10 °C to +35 °C. The SFPvh is operated via a 2.4-inch colour display with touch and swipe controls. An electronic lock with remote control replaces the traditional key; the Wi-Fi/LAN interface is already integrated and removable, meaning the unit can be connected directly to the SmartMonitoring solution without the need to retrofit separate accessories. The connection cable is 3 m long; the rated current is 4.0 A at 220 to 240 V. Three sizes ranging from 480 to 1,091 litres The most compact model, the SFPvh 6501, offers a net volume of 480 litres with four height-adjustable, plastic-coated storage shelves and a maximum total load capacity of 240 kg. The medium-sized model, the SFPvh 8401, has a capacity of 702 litres, also featuring four storage shelves and a maximum total load capacity of 240 kg. The largest model, the SFPvh 1402, offers a net volume of 1,091 litres, eight storage shelves and, at 520 kg, the highest permissible total load capacity in the series. All three sizes are fitted with swivel castors: the SFPvh 1402 has 5 swivel castors, 2 of which have parking brakes; the SFPvh 6501 and 8401 have swivel castors with parking brakes at the front and fixed castors at the rear. The interior lighting on the largest model consists of an LED light column on both sides, whilst on the more compact models it consists of an LED light column on the left. On the largest model, the 1402, the door hinge position is fixed – left-hand and right-hand – whilst on the two more compact models, the 6501 and 8401, it is reversible. Suitable for cleanrooms in accordance with ISO EN 14644-1 and GMP Class B (1402 and 8401) The inner container is made entirely of chrome-nickel steel 1.4301/AISI 304. For the SFPvh 1402 and SFPvh 8401, the Liebherr data sheet specifies, in addition to DIN 13277 certification, cleanroom suitability in accordance with ISO EN 14644-1 Class 6 and GMP Class B, as well as certification in accordance with IEC 60068-3, IEC 61010-1, IEC 61010-2-011 and IEC 61326-1, as well as Labgrade Energy Star. For the SFPvh 6501, this line is missing from the current Liebherr data sheet; no information on the cleanroom class is provided here. The sound power level is 60 dB(A) for all three sizes. Typical applications The SFPvh laboratory freezer is suitable wherever temperature-sensitive samples, reagents or materials need to be stored at low temperatures in compliance with DIN 13277 and where seamless documentation of the cold chain is required, for example in central laboratories with multiple user groups, in quality assurance departments with extensive stocks of reference samples, or in clinical laboratories with a high volume of samples. If, for example, no one needs to be on site at the weekend, the integrated USB data logger provides complete documentation of the cold chain, whilst the Wi-Fi connection allows for remote monitoring without the need for anyone to physically check the unit. Liebherr SFUfg 1001 under-counter deep-freezer, ATEX-95, ignition-source-free, 994821451
Anyone working in a laboratory with highly flammable or explosive substances who wishes to use the space beneath a worktop rather than a freestanding unit will need an under-counter unit with a spark-free interior. The Liebherr SFUfg 1001 is an under-counter deep-freezer with ATEX 95 certification, a net capacity of 68 litres and a temperature range of -9 °C to -30 °C, which can be flexibly integrated into laboratory furniture thanks to its front-mounted ventilation system. Ignition-source-free interior with ATEX 95 certification In addition to the general laboratory standard series in accordance with EN IEC 60079-7, the SFUfg 1001 is certified and, according to the type plate, bears the designation ‘Laboratory freezer, static, ignition-source-free interior’. This makes it the ideal choice for storing chemicals and samples where an ignition-source-free interior is required or recommended. The unit is also certified to IEC 60068-3, IEC 61010-1, IEC 61010-2-011 and IEC 61326-1. Under-counter unit rather than freestanding: for integration into furniture Unlike the freestanding benchtop units in this series, the SFUfg 1001 is specifically designed for installation beneath a laboratory worktop. The front-mounted air intake and exhaust eliminate the need for a separate ventilation system within the cabinet; the installation height can be adjusted via the four levelling feet within a range of 0 to 60 mm to precisely match the height of the surrounding cabinetry, which ranges from 82 to 88 cm. Temperature stability and SmartFrost technology According to the manufacturer, the SFUfg 1001 achieves a temperature stability of ±5 °C and, thanks to SmartFrost technology, reduces ice build-up inside the unit, meaning that manual defrosting is required less frequently than with traditional static freezers. The temperature is displayed on an external digital display, whilst the unit signals faults both visually and audibly. A Wi-Fi/LAN interface can be retrofitted if required. Robust design for continuous operation The housing and door are made of steel, whilst the inner chamber is made of white plastic. The antimicrobial handle with an opening mechanism facilitates daily operation; the door can be mechanically locked and is available with a right- or left-hand hinge. According to the product data sheet, the unit is designed for cleanroom use in accordance with ISO EN 14644-1 (ISO Class 6) and complies with GMP Class B. Compact design with a net volume of 68 litres With internal dimensions of 52.0 x 42.4 x 38.6 cm, the SFUfg 1001 offers a net volume of 68 litres for the storage of chemicals and samples, despite its compact under-counter design. With a net weight of 34.70 kg and packaging dimensions of 61.5 x 71.0 x 89.0 cm, the unit can be easily delivered and installed in the designated cabinet. The power rating of 2.0 A at 220–240 V allows operation from a standard laboratory socket without the need for a separate electrical installation. Performance class with specialised ATEX equipment The SFUfg 1001 belongs to the Performance Class of the Liebherr laboratory range and, like its static sister model, the SFUsg 1001, features basic mechanical equipment with manual defrosting and a mechanical door lock instead of a networked touchscreen control system. The key additional feature here lies not in automation, but in safety technology: only the SFUfg 1001 features a spark-free interior and ATEX 95 certification, whilst Perfection models such as the SFFvh or SFTvh instead rely on automatic NoFrost defrosting and integrated network connectivity. Typical applications The SFUfg 1001 is suitable for laboratories wishing to store chemicals or highly flammable substances beneath the worktop without having to install a separate freestanding unit. For example, in a chemistry laboratory, the deep-freeze storage of flammable samples can be integrated directly into the workstation without losing valuable floor space in the room. Front-mounted ventilation is also a clear advantage when retrofitting existing laboratory furniture, as there is no need to incorporate an additional ventilation duct into the unit. Organisations with multiple workstations where different classes of hazardous substances are handled can deploy the SFUfg 1001 specifically where ATEX requirements actually apply, and use the more cost-effective sister model, the SFUsg 1001, in other areas. Storage of highly flammable or potentially explosive substances in the laboratory Chemistry laboratories requiring an ignition-source-free interior space beneath the worktop Furniture-integrated deep-freeze storage with limited floor space Complement to the static sister model SFUsg 1001 for areas without ATEX requirements Retrofitting of existing laboratory furniture without an additional ventilation shaft Facilities with multiple workstations and different hazardous substance classes Technical details Net volume68 l Gross volume91 l External dimensions (H x W x D)81.9 x 59.7 x 58.4 cm Internal dimensions (H x W x D)52.0 x 42.4 x 38.6 cm Packaging dimensions (W x D x H)61.5 x 71.0 x 89.0 cm Net weight34.70 kg Gross weight37.30 kg Casing materialSteel Door materialSteel Inner containerPlastic, white HandleAntimicrobial, with opening mechanism Adjustable feet4, height-adjustable from 0 to 60 mm Door hingeright-hand, reversible Lockmechanical RefrigerantR 600a (65 g) Cooling systemStatic, SmartFrost technology, manual defrost Temperature adjustment range-9 °C to -30 °C, stability ±5 °C Temperature displayexternal, digital Fault warning signalvisual and audible Internal lightingnot fitted Rated current2.0 A Voltage / Frequency220–240 V ~ / 50/60 Hz Connection cable3,000 mm InterfaceWi-Fi/LAN, retrofittable Cleanroom classISO EN 14644-1, ISO Class 6 GMP classB CertificationsEN IEC 60079-7, IEC 60068-3, IEC 61010-1, IEC 61010-2-011, IEC 61326-1 Energy consumption123 kWh/year Contents of delivery 1x Liebherr SFUfg 1001 under-counter freezer User manual Installation instructions for built-in installation Customised requirements & procurement service Do you require the SFUsg 1001 standard version without ATEX requirements, assistance with furniture integration, or a different size? Even the slightest temperature fluctuations can jeopardise entire test series in the laboratory. The Liebherr SFFsg 5501 is a laboratory freezer with static cooling that stores sensitive substances at stable temperatures between -9 °C and -30 °C, whilst providing reliable monitoring. The housing and door are made of steel, whilst the inner chamber is made of robust, white plastic. The SFFsg 5501 is available either with open shelves or in a version with eight additional drawers and two wire baskets, both featuring the same dimensions and the same base unit. Technology and cooling capacity Static cooling ensures an even temperature distribution with minimal air movement inside the chamber, which is preferred for many sensitive laboratory samples. The temperature is displayed digitally on the outside and can be set within a range of -9 °C to -30 °C, with a permissible ambient temperature of +10 °C to 35 °C. The natural refrigerant R 290 is used (charge: 95 g), an environmentally friendly choice with a low global warming potential compared to older, synthetic refrigerants. SmartFrost cooling technology ensures even temperature distribution inside the unit. In the event of faults, the unit issues visual and audible warnings, ensuring that temperature deviations are immediately noticeable. Via a retrofittable Wi-Fi/LAN interface, the freezer can be integrated into an existing laboratory network if required, for example to centrally document temperature trends. Certification and cleanroom class The SFFsg 5501 in its standard version with shelves is certified to IEC 60068-3, IEC 61010-1, IEC 61010-2-011 and IEC 61326-1, and meets cleanroom class ISO 5 in accordance with ISO EN 14644-1. According to the product data sheet, the unit complies with GMP Class B. For the version with drawers (740), however, a different, reduced certification list applies, comprising only two standards instead of four; see section B.3 for the exact list. Interior layout and ease of use The interior features five storage shelves made of plastic-coated wire mesh with a base tray, four of which are height-adjustable, allowing the interior layout to be flexibly adapted to different container sizes, from small sample vials to larger storage containers. The antimicrobial handle with integrated opening mechanism makes operation easier, even when wearing laboratory gloves. The door opens to the right but is reversible; when the door is open, the unit is 79.2 cm wide. Defrosting is carried out manually, which is standard for freezers in this temperature class, whilst a mechanical lock provides additional security against unauthorised access. Typical applications The SFFsg 5501 is designed for scientific use and is suitable for laboratories that need to reliably store enzymes, reagents, biological samples or other temperature-sensitive substances at consistently low temperatures, for example in research or quality assurance. For example, even during extended series of experiments, it is possible to check at any time whether the cold chain has been maintained without interruption, thanks to continuous temperature monitoring with visual and audible alarms. Statically cooled freezer storage for enzymes, reagents and biological samples Research and quality assurance requiring a fully documented cold chain Laboratories with a high sample throughput that require a net volume of 394 l Locations wishing to switch to a version with drawers and wire baskets (740) if required Installation and connection With external dimensions of 168.4 x 74.7 x 76.9 cm (H x W x D) and a net weight of 88.30 kg, the SFFsg 5501 is designed for a fixed installation in the laboratory. The unit operates at 220 to 240 V with a connected load of 2.0 A and is supplied with a 3-metre-long power cable; a standard laboratory power socket is therefore sufficient. Manufacture and positioning within the product range The SFFsg 5501 is manufactured at Liebherr’s plant in Lienz, Austria, and forms part of the performance segment of Liebherr’s laboratory equipment range. As the statically cooled counterpart to the ignition-source-free SFFfg 5501, the unit is aimed at laboratories without ATEX requirements that nevertheless wish to utilise the same dimensions and the same net volume of 394 l. For the standard version, an operating manual and product data sheet are available, providing clear documentation for internal approvals and tenders. The combination of digital temperature monitoring, retrofittable network connectivity and height-adjustable shelves demonstrates that the unit is designed for professional, long-term laboratory use and is not intended as an entry-level model. Liebherr SFFfg 5501 Laboratory Freezer, Ignition-source-free Interior, ATEX, 394 l, 994228451
A laboratory freezer with special safety features is required for the storage of flammable substances that may create explosive atmospheres. According to the type plate, the Liebherr SFFfg 5501 laboratory freezer has an ignition-source-free interior and ensures powerful cooling at constant temperatures with good energy efficiency. Laboratories with high demands for the storage of sensitive, deep-frozen substances will find a reliable solution here, with a net capacity of 394 l, available either with open shelves or in a version featuring eight additional drawers. Technology and cooling performance The temperature is displayed digitally on the outside and can be set within a range of -9 °C to -30 °C, with a permissible ambient temperature of +10 °C to 35 °C. The natural refrigerant R 290 is used (filling quantity 95 g), an environmentally friendly choice with a low global warming potential compared to older, synthetic refrigerants. SmartFrost cooling technology ensures even temperature distribution inside the unit. In the event of a fault, the unit issues visual and audible warnings, so that temperature deviations are immediately detected before sensitive samples are damaged. Via a retrofittable Wi-Fi/LAN interface, the freezer can be integrated into an existing laboratory network if required, for example to centrally document temperature trends. Safety: ATEX-compliant, ignition-source-free interior The ignition-source-free interior makes the SFFfg 5501 the ideal choice for laboratories that need to store flammable solvents, chemicals or other substances where no ignition sources are permitted inside the unit. For example, in a chemistry or analytical laboratory, this ensures the safe deep-freeze storage of large quantities of flammable samples during routine operations, without the need to set up a separate explosion-proof freezer room for these substances in another part of the building. Interior layout and ease of use Five glass shelves in the freezer compartment ensure organised storage; four of these are height-adjustable and adapt to different container and sample sizes, for example when larger storage containers need to be accommodated alongside small sample vials. The antimicrobial handle with an integrated opening mechanism makes operation easier, even when wearing gloves, as is common in everyday laboratory work. The door hinge is on the right but can be reversed, allowing the unit to be flexibly adapted to the existing room layout; when the door is open, the unit is 79.2 cm wide. Defrosting is carried out manually. Certification and cleanroom class The SFFfg 5501 is certified to IEC 60068-3, IEC 61010-1, IEC 61010-2-011 and IEC 61326-1 and meets cleanroom class ISO 5 in accordance with ISO EN 14644-1. According to the product data sheet, the unit complies with GMP Class B. Pure freezing capacity rather than a fridge-freezer Unlike the ignition-source-free fridge-freezer combination SCFfg 4002 from the same range, the SFFfg 5501 features a freezer compartment only, but with 394 l of net capacity, significantly more space dedicated solely to deep-freeze storage. Anyone who already has a separate ignition-source-free laboratory fridge and is looking for additional freezer capacity, or anyone who needs to store larger quantities of frozen samples from the outset, will be better served by the SFFfg 5501 than by a combined unit, whose freezer compartment is naturally smaller. Durability and energy efficiency With an annual energy consumption of 516 kWh, the running costs of the SFFfg 5501 in everyday laboratory use are easy to calculate. The robust steel housing and the plastic inner container are designed for continuous operation; the net weight of 89.80 kg and the sturdy construction ensure long-lasting use in a professional laboratory environment. Manufacturing and positioning within the product range The SFFfg 5501 is manufactured at Liebherr’s Austrian plant in Lienz and forms part of the performance segment of Liebherr’s laboratory equipment range. The combination of digital temperature monitoring, retrofittable network connectivity and height-adjustable shelves demonstrates that the unit is designed for professional, continuous laboratory operation and is not intended as an entry-level model. Typical applications The SFFfg 5501 comes into its own wherever large quantities of flammable or combustible substances need to be stored in a deep-freeze environment free from ignition sources. For example, a large batch of flammable solvent samples from an ongoing analysis can be deep-frozen in an ignition-source-free environment without the need to purchase an additional, separate refrigeration unit. Chemistry and analytical laboratories: deep-freeze storage of large quantities of flammable samples and solvents Pharmaceutical and life sciences facilities requiring ignition-source-free deep-freeze storage As a supplement to an existing laboratory refrigerator where separate freezing capacity is required Laboratory areas connected to a central network for temperature monitoring Technical details Net capacity394 l Gross capacity499 l Temperature range, freezer compartment-9 °C to -30 °C Ambient temperature (commercial)+10 °C to 35 °C RefrigerantR 290, charge 95 g Casing / DoorSteel Inner containerWhite plastic Shelf spaces in the freezer compartment5 glass shelves, 4 of which are height-adjustable ModelStandard, with shelves HandleAntimicrobial handle with opening mechanism Door hingeright-hand, reversible Appliance width with door open79.2 cm Defrosting methodManual Dimensions H/W/D168.4 / 74.7 / 76.9 cm Internal dimensions H/W/D138.8 / 58.8 / 51.7 cm Net weight89.80 kg Power supply220-240 V, 2.0 A, 50 Hz CertificationsIEC 60068-3, IEC 61010-1, IEC 61010-2-011, IEC 61326-1 Cleanroom classISO Class 5 (ISO EN 14644-1) Energy consumption516 kWh/year Scope of delivery 1x Liebherr SFFfg 5501 laboratory freezer, standard version, ready for use User manual Individual requirements and procurement service Do you require the drawer version (740), spare parts, additional shelving or advice on the right networking solution for your laboratory? Under-counter unit with front ventilation The SRUvg 1001 is designed for integration into furniture with front-mounted air intake and exhaust, allowing it to be installed side-by-side with other base unit elements. Height-adjustable feet (0 to 60 mm) allow the unit to be adapted to a recess with a height of 82.0 to 88.0 cm; the required recess width is 60.0 cm, and the recess depth is 58.0 cm. The housing and door are made of white steel, whilst the inner container is made of easy-to-clean white plastic; an LED ceiling light ensures a clear view of the contents. Operation whilst wearing gloves and alarm functions The control panel is flush with the door, allowing the appliance status to be read without opening the door. The menu navigation is self-explanatory and can be operated using icons and voice guidance in up to 12 languages, even whilst wearing gloves, via three touch buttons. In the event of a fault, an alarm relay immediately notifies the relevant control centre; an integrated alarm test checks that the alarm system is functioning correctly without interrupting the cooling process. In the event of faults, the unit also provides visual and audible warnings, whilst a power failure alarm sounds when mains power is restored. Interior layout and cleanroom class The interior features 3 shelving levels, 2 of which are height-adjustable. The plastic-coated shelves offer a usable area of 45.0 x 40.8 cm and can each support a load of up to 45 kg. According to the manufacturer, the unit is suitable for cleanroom use in accordance with ISO EN 14644-1 (ISO Class 4, the highest cleanroom class in the under-counter range) and complies with GMP Class B; it is also certified to IEC 60068-3, IEC 61010-1, IEC 61010-2-011 and IEC 61326-1. Liebherr guarantees the availability of spare parts for 15 years after the end of production. Steel door or insulated glass door The SRUvg 1001 comes with a steel door. For those who would prefer to be able to check stock levels at a glance at any time, the SRUvg 1011 model with an insulated glass door (994788251), which offers the ideal alternative from the same series, albeit with a higher annual energy consumption of 182 kWh instead of 91 kWh and a lower cleanroom class (ISO Class 6 instead of ISO Class 4). If ATEX certification for flammable substances is required, the SRUfg 1001 (994821351), a version of identical construction with an ignition-source-free interior, is available. The unit is fundamentally compatible with SmartMonitoring; connection is via the optional SmartModule and the retrofittable Wi-Fi/LAN interface. Connection and cooling capacity The SRUvg 1001 operates with a rated power consumption of 80 W at 220-240 V and 50/60 Hz, fused at 10 to 16 A; the supplied connection cable is 3,000 mm long. Starting from a cold state, the unit cools down from +25 °C to +5 °C in around 27 minutes at an ambient temperature of +25 °C; after the door has been open for one minute, it takes around 5 minutes to return to the set temperature, both of which are significantly faster than with the ATEX equivalent, the SRUfg 1001. These figures are laboratory values in accordance with EN 60068-3 and provide a guide for practical use; they do not constitute a guarantee in individual cases. The adjustable feet are made of plastic; the maximum installation altitude is 2,000 m above sea level. Typical applications The SRUvg 1001 is suitable wherever space needs to be created under a laboratory worktop for the daily stock of reagents or samples, without the need for ATEX certification. Liebherr SRPvh laboratory refrigerator, Perfection series, DIN 13277, steel door or double-glazed door, 480 to 1,091 litres
Anyone who needs to store sensitive samples, reagents or reference samples that require documentation will find it almost impossible to do so without standard-compliant refrigeration. The Liebherr SRPvh laboratory refrigerator from the Perfection series is certified to DIN 13277 and, with three sizes ranging from 480 to 1,091 litres net volume and a choice of steel or insulated glass doors, covers a wide range of laboratory requirements. An integrated USB data logger, an alarm history and a built-in Wi-Fi/LAN interface ensure a fully traceable cold chain with a temperature stability of ±2 °C. DIN 13277: standard-compliant laboratory storage with documentation All six sizes of the SRPvh are designed in accordance with DIN 13277 for laboratory and pharmacy refrigerators, as per the Liebherr certification list. This is complemented by an integrated USB data logger, which continuously records the temperature history, and an alarm history that allows past faults to be traced. In the event of a power cut, the power failure alarm is triggered immediately rather than only when power is restored, and remains buffered for at least 12 hours, ensuring that even an outage overnight or at the weekend is reliably documented. Temperature stability of ±2 °C with dynamic recirculating air cooling A dynamic cooling system with forced-air cooling ensures even temperature distribution throughout the interior, whilst defrosting takes place automatically. Depending on the door variant, the adjustable temperature range is from -2 °C to +16 °C (steel door) or 0 °C to +16 °C (insulated glass door), with a temperature stability of ±2 °C. The permissible ambient temperature is from +10 °C to +35 °C. The refrigerant used is R 600a, a natural refrigerant with low global warming potential, with a charge of 80 g in all six sizes. Energy consumption ranges from 172 to 705 kWh per year, depending on the size and door variant; the exact figures for each of the six models are listed in the model overview below. Operation, connectivity and access security of the Perfection series The SRPvh is operated via a 2.4-inch colour display with touch and swipe controls. The Wi-Fi/LAN interface is already integrated and detachable, meaning the unit can be connected directly to the laboratory network without the need for separate accessories. An electronic lock with remote control replaces the traditional key. The connection cable is 3 m long; the rated current is 4.0 A, 220 to 240 V, 50 to 60 Hz. Compared with the Performance Series SRPvg, this means that both the lock and the network connection are already included as standard in the basic configuration, rather than having to be retrofitted as an option. Three sizes ranging from 480 to 1,091 litres The most compact model, the SRPvh 6501/6511, offers a net volume of 480 litres with four height-adjustable, plastic-coated storage shelves, each with a load capacity of 60 kg. The medium-sized model, the SRPvh 8401/8411, has a capacity of 702 litres and also features four storage shelves. The largest model, the SRPvh 1402/1412, offers a net volume of 1,091 litres and eight storage shelves, suitable for central laboratory storage facilities handling high volumes of samples subject to documentation requirements. Steel door or insulated glass door: choice of locking mechanism as required On models 1402, 6501 and 8401, the door is made of solid steel; on models 1412, 6511 and 8411, it is made of insulated glass with a steel frame. On the largest model, the 1402/1412, the door hinge position is fixed – either left-hand or right-hand; on the two more compact models, the 6501/6511 and 8401/8411, it is reversible. The interior lighting on the largest size consists of an LED light column on both sides, whilst on the more compact sizes it consists of an LED light column on the left. Suitable for cleanrooms in accordance with ISO EN 14644-1 and GMP Class B The inner vessel is constructed entirely from 1.4301/AISI 304 chrome-nickel steel. All six sizes are designed for cleanroom use in accordance with ISO EN 14644-1 Class 6 and, according to the data sheet, comply with GMP Class B, in addition to DIN 13277 certification in accordance with IEC 60068-3, IEC 61010-1, IEC 61010-2-011 and IEC 61326-1. The sound power level is 60 dB. Typical applications The SRPvh laboratory refrigerator is suitable for any situation where temperature-sensitive samples, reagents or materials need to be stored in compliance with DIN 13277 and where seamless documentation of the cold chain is required, such as in central laboratories with multiple user groups, in quality assurance departments with extensive stocks of reference samples, or in clinical laboratories with a high volume of samples. If, for example, no one needs to be on site at the weekend, the integrated USB data logger provides complete documentation of the cold chain, whilst the Wi-Fi connection allows for remote monitoring without the need for anyone to physically check the unit. Liebherr SFFvh 4001 Laboratory Freezer, DIN 13277, NoFrost, 174 l, 994249651
Anyone who needs to reliably maintain very low temperatures down to -35 °C in the laboratory, whilst being able to document at all times whether the cold chain has been maintained, needs more than just a simple freezer. The Liebherr SFFvh 4001 is a Perfection-class laboratory deep-freezer with a net capacity of 174 l, NoFrost forced-air cooling and monitoring features that are also suitable for samples subject to documentation requirements. NoFrost forced-air cooling without manual defrosting Unlike the statically cooled Performance units in the LT Laborhandel range, the SFFvh 4001 operates with dynamic forced-air cooling and an automatic NoFrost defrosting system, completely eliminating the need for tedious manual defrosting. The temperature range extends from -9 °C to -35 °C, and the unit is operated via a touch-and-swipe interface. Annual energy consumption is 292 kWh; this represents a slight increase in cost compared with the smaller under-counter units in the LT Laborhandel range, reflecting the higher cooling capacity and the elimination of manual defrosting. Monitoring and alarm functions in accordance with DIN 13277 The SFFvh 4001 meets the requirements of DIN 13277 for refrigeration and freezing units used in laboratories. Faults are indicated visually and audibly; in the event of a power cut, the mains failure alarm is triggered immediately and is buffered for at least 12 hours. An alarm history logs past faults, and an additional product sensor can be retrofitted if required. The integrated, removable Wi-Fi/LAN interface connects the unit directly to an existing laboratory network without the need to retrofit any accessories. Interior layout for 174 l net volume The interior (internal dimensions 140.0 x 42.0 x 40.0 cm) features 7 shelving levels, 6 of which are height-adjustable, allowing the layout to be flexibly adapted to different container sizes. The plastic inner container is easy to clean and recyclable. The antimicrobial handle with opening mechanism and the LED interior lighting facilitate daily access; the door is mechanically lockable and can be hinged on either the right or left-hand side. New model alongside the SFFvh 5501 The SFFvh 4001 complements the already established SFFvh 5501 with a more compact model from the same Perfection series, featuring identical specifications in terms of NoFrost, DIN 13277 and network connectivity. According to the product data sheet, the unit is designed for cleanroom use in accordance with ISO EN 14644-1 (ISO Class 7) and complies with GMP Class B; it is also certified to IEC 60068-3, IEC 61010-1, IEC 61010-2-011 and IEC 61326-1. Robust construction for continuous operation The housing and door are made of steel, designed for continuous operation in everyday laboratory use over many years. With a net weight of 81.80 kg and external dimensions of 188.4 x 59.7 x 65.4 cm, this is a genuine floor-standing unit that remains firmly in place at its installation site; with a unit width of 64.2 cm when the door is open, there is still sufficient space to move around in front of it even when the interior is full. Two fixed feet ensure a secure footing. The annual energy consumption of 292 kWh is within the expected range for an appliance of this size and cooling capacity; whilst this represents a slight increase compared to statically cooled appliances, it is offset by the elimination of manual defrosting and the greater temperature stability offered by NoFrost technology. Perfection Class: greater automation than in Performance models The SFFvh 4001 belongs to Liebherr’s Perfection Class and thus differs significantly from the simpler Performance models in the LT Laborhandel range, such as the SFCse 801 or SFUfg 1001: automatic NoFrost defrosting instead of manual defrosting, a touch-and-swipe user interface instead of a purely digital display, and a pre-installed network connection rather than one that can only be retrofitted. For laboratories requiring this additional level of automation and documentation reliability, the Perfection class is the right choice, even though it differs from the more affordable Performance class in terms of energy consumption and purchase price. Typical applications The SFFvh 4001 is suitable for research laboratories and quality assurance departments that need to store samples requiring deep-freezing in accordance with standards and must be able to provide a complete record of the temperature history in the event of a fault. For example, in the event of a brief power cut, the alarm history and the power failure alarm, which is triggered immediately, provide proof at any time that the cold chain has been maintained. For organisations wishing to monitor their equipment centrally via a network, the integrated Wi-Fi/LAN interface also offers a practical advantage over units with only retrofittable connectivity. Liebherr SRTvg 1501 laboratory refrigerator, Performance, steel door, 102 l, 994869951
For those who need a reliable laboratory refrigerator for their daily stock of reagents and samples in their day-to-day laboratory work, without the need for certification to DIN 13277, the Liebherr SRTvg 1501 is a compact unit from the Performance Series featuring dynamic forced-air cooling. With a net capacity of 102 litres and a temperature stability of ±3 °C maximum, this under-counter tabletop unit reliably maintains the set temperature; with external dimensions of just 59.7 x 60.5 x 81.9 cm (W x D x H), it fits on any laboratory worktop or under a counter. Dynamic forced-air cooling with SafetyDevice The SRTvg 1501 cools within a range of +3 °C to +16 °C and defrosts automatically; manual defrosting is not required. According to the manufacturer, the temperature deviates by a maximum of ±3 °C from the setting; a digital external display shows the current value at all times. If the temperature drops below +2 °C whilst set to +5 °C or warmer, the integrated SafetyDevice function takes control, stabilises the temperature and activates the alarm to protect the contents from freezing. In the event of a fault, the unit issues visual and audible warnings; a power failure alarm sounds when power is restored, and the unit also records the minimum and maximum temperatures. After the door has been open for one minute, the empty unit takes around 9 minutes to return to the set temperature at an ambient temperature of +25 °C. Steel door and easy-to-clean interior The housing and door are made of white steel; the seamlessly manufactured polystyrene inner container can be cleaned quickly and thoroughly thanks to its joint-free construction. The door closes automatically; it is hinged on the right and the hinge side can be changed independently if required. An antimicrobial handle with an opening mechanism and a mechanical lock complete the range of features. The galvanised steel levelling feet support the unit at altitudes of up to 2,000 m above sea level. For those who would prefer to see at a glance what is stored inside the unit at any time, the SRTvg 1511 (994870051) model with an insulated glass door offers the ideal alternative from the same series. 4 shelves for a total load capacity of up to 180 kg The interior features 4 shelving levels, 3 of which are height-adjustable. The plastic-coated shelves offer a usable area of 45.0 x 42.5 cm and can each support up to 45 kg; the maximum total load capacity of the unit is 180 kg. This combination of multiple adjustable levels and robust load-bearing capacity makes the unit suitable even for larger vessels and containers. Connectivity and durability Via the retrofittable Wi-Fi and LAN interfaces, the SRTvg 1501 can be connected to Liebherr’s SmartMonitoring system as required, enabling digital recording of the storage temperature. A dry contact also enables connection to an existing building management system. Liebherr designs the unit for a 15-year service life and guarantees the availability of spare parts for at least 10 years. According to the master data, the SRTvg 1501 replaces the previous model, the LKUv 1610 001 25. Connection and cooling capacity The SRTvg 1501 operates with a rated power consumption of 100 W at 220–240 V and 50 Hz, fused at 10 to 16 A; the supplied connection cable is 3,000 mm long. The door seal can be replaced if necessary; the door closes automatically. When empty, the unit cools from +25 °C to +5 °C in around 43 minutes at an ambient temperature of +25 °C; heating from +5 °C to +10 °C takes around 63 minutes when empty. These figures are laboratory values in accordance with EN 60068-3 and are intended as a guide for practical use; they do not constitute a guarantee in individual cases. Typical areas of application Its compact design and ease of use make the SRTvg 1501 a practical all-rounder wherever reagents, buffers or samples are regularly used in day-to-day laboratory work, without the need for certification in accordance with DIN 13277. Liebherr SFPvg laboratory freezer, Performance Series, -9 °C to -30 °C, 480 to 1,091 litres
Anyone who needs to store large quantities of samples, reagents or reference samples at sub-zero temperatures on a long-term basis in the laboratory will find it hard to do without a high-performance laboratory freezer. The Liebherr SFPvg laboratory freezer from the Performance Series – often referred to colloquially as a laboratory deep-freezer – is available in three sizes with net volumes ranging from 480 to 1,091 litres and covers a temperature range from -9 °C to -30 °C, with a temperature stability of ±5 °C and the natural refrigerant R 290. Whether for central laboratory storage, quality assurance or sample archiving within an institute: the model range can be selected to suit the required capacity. Temperature stability of ±5 °C with NoFrost forced-air cooling A dynamic cooling system with forced-air circulation and NoFrost technology ensures even temperature distribution throughout the entire interior, whilst demand-controlled defrost cycles remove moisture from the interior, preventing the formation of disruptive ice. The adjustable temperature range is from -9 °C to -30 °C; according to the Liebherr data sheet, the series guarantees a maximum temperature fluctuation of ±5 °C. The permissible ambient temperature is from +10 °C to +35 °C. In the event of a fault, visual and audible alarms provide immediate notification; a potential-free contact also allows connection to a building management system. In the event of a power cut, the mains failure alarm is triggered when mains power is restored. The natural refrigerant R 290 (propane) is used, with a charge of 94 or 104 g depending on the unit size. Operation and networking of the Performance Series The SFPvg is operated via a monochrome display with touch buttons, secured by a mechanical lock. The Wi-Fi/LAN interface can be retrofitted as an option and, if required, enables the unit to be connected to the SmartMonitoring digital monitoring solution via a SmartModule (Liebherr item no. 614526900), without the need for the basic configuration to be pre-assigned for this purpose. The connection cable is 3 m long; the rated current is 4.0 A at 220 to 240 V. Unlike the Perfection SFPvh series, the SFPvg does not include a data logger as standard, but instead offers a streamlined operating concept for laboratories that do not require comprehensive digital documentation of the cold chain. Three sizes ranging from 480 to 1,091 litres The most compact model, the SFPvg 6501, offers a net volume of 480 litres with four height-adjustable, plastic-coated shelving racks, each with a load capacity of 60 kg according to the data sheet and a maximum total load of 240 kg. The medium-sized model, the SFPvg 8401, has a capacity of 702 litres, also featuring four storage shelves and a maximum total load capacity of 240 kg. The largest model, the SFPvg 1402, offers a net volume of 1,091 litres, eight storage shelves and a maximum total load capacity of 480 kg; it is suitable for central laboratory storage facilities handling large volumes of samples or reagents. All three models are fitted with swivel castors: the SFPvg 1402 has five swivel castors, two of which have locking brakes; the SFPvg 6501 and 8401 have swivel castors with locking brakes at the front and fixed castors at the rear, so that even the larger units can be moved around the laboratory as required. On the largest model, the 1402, the door hinge is fixed in position – fixed on the left and fixed on the right; on the two more compact models, the 6501 and 8401, it is reversible. Suitable for cleanrooms in accordance with ISO EN 14644-1 and GMP Class B The inner chamber is constructed entirely from 1.4301/AISI 304 chrome-nickel steel, which is easy to clean and resistant to most chemicals commonly used in the laboratory. According to the data sheet, all three sizes are designed for cleanroom use in accordance with ISO EN 14644-1 Class 6 and comply with GMP Class B. In addition, the units are certified to IEC 60068-3, IEC 61010-1, IEC 61010-2-011 and IEC 61326-1, as well as Labgrade Energy Star. According to the Liebherr certification list, the SFPvg does not hold DIN 13277 certification; this is reserved for the Perfection series SFPvh. The sound power level is 60 dB(A). Typical applications The SFPvg laboratory freezer is suitable for any application where samples, reagents or reference samples need to be reliably stored at low temperatures, without the need for comprehensive digital documentation of the cold chain. If, for example, a large number of daily samples need to be frozen simultaneously at the end of a working day, the large 1,091-litre capacity provides sufficient space without the need to stack individual containers tightly together. Liebherr SFCse 801 Compact Freezer, 59 l, -12 °C to -28 °C, 997222851
Not every laboratory needs a large upright freezer straight away; sometimes a compact freezer is sufficient for a side room, a second site or a smaller facility. The Liebherr SFCse 801 is a compact freezer for temperatures ranging from -12 °C to -28 °C, with a net capacity of 59 l, which can be placed on a worktop or in a corner of the room. With external dimensions of just 68 x 55 x 61 cm (H x W x D), it is the most compact freezer in Liebherr’s current laboratory range. Compact freezer for flexible placement With a net weight of 32.70 kg and packaging dimensions of 56.7 x 71.1 x 73.2 cm, the SFCse 801 can be transported with minimal effort and set up in almost any location. The two storage shelves inside the unit (internal dimensions 49.0 x 38.0 x 41.0 cm) provide basic organisation for smaller quantities of frozen goods. The recessed handle and the two fixed feet are designed for a simple, robust and compact unit rather than for extensive accessories. Important note regarding certification Unlike the other Liebherr laboratory freezers, the SFCse 801 has been tested in accordance with the safety standards for domestic refrigeration appliances, IEC 60335-1 and IEC 60335-2-89, and not in accordance with the laboratory standards series IEC 61010. For applications where certification to IEC 61010 is mandatory, the SFCse 801 is therefore not the right choice. For all other applications where such formal certification is not required, it nevertheless offers a solid basic specification, featuring a digital temperature display, visual and audible alarm signals in the event of a fault, and a retrofittable Wi-Fi/LAN interface. Manufactured at the Liebherr plant in Marica Like its refrigeration counterpart, the SRCse 801, the SFCse 801 is manufactured at the Liebherr plant in Marica, Bulgaria, whilst most other Liebherr laboratory appliances are produced at the Lienz plant. This does not affect the manufacturer’s brand or quality standards; both plants are part of Liebherr-Hausgeräte GmbH. Performance Class: robust basic features The SFCse 801 belongs to the Performance Class of the Liebherr laboratory range and features deliberately simple, basic mechanical functions: manual defrosting, a mechanical door lock and a digital temperature display instead of a networked touchscreen control panel. This makes the appliance low-maintenance and easy to use, without the need to familiarise oneself with complex menus. Those who require automatic defrosting and a fixed network connection instead will find this in Liebherr’s Perfection class, for example in the SFFvh or SFTvh freestanding models. Operation and features in detail The temperature is displayed on an external digital display, whilst the appliance signals faults both visually and audibly. Defrosting is carried out manually, and an LED interior light ensures good visibility when the door is opened. The door can be mechanically locked and is available with a right- or left-hand hinge. If required, a Wi-Fi/LAN interface can be retrofitted to integrate the appliance into an existing network. The housing and door are made of steel, whilst the inner compartment is made of white plastic. Robust construction, compact transport The steel housing and door ensure a durable, robust construction that requires little maintenance even during continuous operation. As the SFCse 801, with a net weight of 32.70 kg, is significantly lighter than the floor-standing units in the Liebherr laboratory range, it can be carried to its destination without the need for a pallet truck or hand trolley, a practical advantage when navigating an adjoining room or a narrow corridor. The compact packaging dimensions of 56.7 x 71.1 x 73.2 cm also fit through most standard doors, which significantly simplifies on-site installation. According to the manufacturer’s data sheet, the ISO 7 cleanroom class and GMP Class C classification place the SFCse 801 in the category of laboratory refrigeration units with moderate requirements for ambient cleanliness, typical for the general storage of frozen goods without pharmaceutical sterile production. For facilities that do not require higher cleanroom classes, this is a sensible and cost-effective standard. Typical applications The SFCse 801 is suitable wherever a compact supplementary unit is required for smaller quantities of frozen goods, without certification to the IEC 61010 series of laboratory standards being mandatory. For example, it allows additional deep-freeze capacity to be quickly created in an adjoining room or at a second site without having to install a full-size freestanding unit straight away. The SFCse 801 also excels in training facilities or smaller businesses where formal laboratory certification is not a requirement, thanks to its compact footprint, low weight and simple, mechanical operation without the need for complex set-up. Additional freezer space in adjoining rooms or at secondary sites Smaller facilities with limited space As a supplement to a larger laboratory freezer for less sensitive goods Applications where IEC 61010 certification is not mandatory Training and education rooms requiring simple deep-freeze storage Technical details Net capacity59 l Gross capacity77 l External dimensions (H x W x D)68 x 55 x 61 cm Internal dimensions (H x W x D)49.0 x 38.0 x 41.0 cm Packaging dimensions (W x D x H)56.7 x 71.1 x 73.2 cm Net weight32.70 kg Gross weight34.90 kg Casing materialSteel Door materialSteel Inner containerPlastic, white Shelves2, non-adjustable HandleRecessed handle Door hingeright-hand, reversible Lockmechanical RefrigerantR 600a (50 g) Temperature setting range-12 °C to -28 °C Temperature displayexternal, digital Fault warning signalvisual and audible Defrosting methodmanual Interior lightingLED connected load1.3 A Voltage / Frequency220-240 V ~ / 50 Hz Connection cable2,800 mm InterfaceWi-Fi/LAN, retrofittable Cleanroom classISO Class 7 GMP classC CertificationIEC 60335-1, IEC 60335-2-89 (safety standard for domestic refrigeration appliances) Energy consumption158 kWh/year Scope of delivery 1x Liebherr SFCse 801 compact freezer User manual Individual requirements and procurement service Do you require an appliance with full IEC 61010 laboratory standard certification, a different size, or assistance in selecting the right freezer for your premises? Liebherr SFTvh 1501 Tabletop Freezer, DIN 13277, 3 Drawers, 994870651
Where there is no space in the laboratory for a large floor-standing unit, but low temperatures down to -35 °C are still required with full documentation reliability, the Liebherr SFTvh 1501 is the compact alternative. This Perfection-class benchtop freezer combines NoFrost fan-assisted cooling, DIN 13277 certification and comprehensive alarm monitoring in a unit measuring just 81.9 x 59.7 x 60.5 cm externally, meaning it fits on a worktop or under a counter. Table-top unit instead of floor-standing unit: freestanding rather than built-in Unlike the SFUfg and SFUsg under-counter units in this series, the SFTvh 1501 is designed as a freestanding tabletop unit, without the front ventilation that is required for integration into furniture. It can be easily placed on a level surface and is securely fixed in position by two adjustable feet. With a net weight of 40.50 kg and packaging dimensions of 61.5 x 71.0 x 89.0 cm, it can be transported and set up with minimal effort. 3 drawers included in the scope of delivery The interior of the SFTvh 1501 is already fitted with 2 shelves and 3 drawers, without the need to order a separate accessory pack, as is the case with its sister model, the SFTsg 1501. This ensures everything is within easy reach and well organised, even with smaller sample quantities, within the interior dimensions of 60.0 x 38.0 x 33.0 cm. The antimicrobial handle with opening mechanism and the LED interior lighting make daily access easier. NoFrost cooling and monitoring in accordance with DIN 13277 The dynamic forced-air cooling system with automatic NoFrost defrosting maintains a constant temperature range from -9 °C to -35 °C without the need for manual defrosting. The SFTvh 1501 meets the requirements of DIN 13277 and is also certified to IEC 60068-3, IEC 61010-1, IEC 61010-2-011 and IEC 61326-1. Faults are signalled visually and acoustically; the integrated, removable Wi-Fi/LAN interface connects the unit directly to an existing laboratory network. Energy consumption is 187 kWh per year. Cleanroom suitability at the highest level in the series According to the product data sheet, the SFTvh 1501 is designed to meet cleanroom standards in accordance with ISO EN 14644-1, achieving ISO Class 5 and GMP Class A. This makes the unit suitable for applications with higher requirements for environmental cleanliness. Compact design without compromising on features With a net weight of 40.50 kg and packaging dimensions of 61.5 x 71.0 x 89.0 cm, the SFTvh 1501 is comparatively easy to transport and set up, significantly less complicated than any of the large floor-standing units in the Liebherr laboratory range. The housing and door are made of robust steel, whilst the inner chamber is made of easy-to-clean white plastic. Despite its compact design, the SFTvh 1501 does not compromise on any aspect of the full ‘Perfection’ specification: NoFrost forced-air cooling, integrated network connectivity and DIN 13277-compliant monitoring are identical to those of the larger freestanding units in the same class. Connection and operation The SFTvh 1501 is connected to a standard laboratory socket supplying 220-240 V via a 3,000 mm long connection cable; the connected load is 2.0 A or 207 W. Frequency compatibility of 50/60 Hz allows operation on both European and other international mains supplies. The mechanically reversible door can be adapted to the room layout as required, for example if a configuration with the door hinged on the left is more convenient for the workflow. Typical applications The SFTvh 1501 is suitable for laboratories and clinical practice rooms requiring documentation-compliant deep-freeze storage down to -35 °C in a compact space, for example as a supplement to a larger floor-standing unit or as a stand-alone solution at a workstation with limited floor space. The built-in drawers make it easy to sort samples by type without the need to order additional accessories. The SFTvh 1501 is also a suitable solution for smaller sites which, due to space constraints, cannot accommodate a large floor-standing unit but still require the full range of Perfection features. Medical practices, clinics and research facilities with several smaller sample areas also benefit from the fact that multiple SFTvh 1501 units can be set up at different workstations, rather than consolidating the entire stock in a single central floor-standing unit. Compact deep-freeze storage for workstations with limited floor space Research or quality assurance laboratories with cleanroom class and GMP requirements A supplement to a larger floor-standing unit for separate sample areas Organised storage thanks to 3 permanently integrated drawers Smaller sites requiring a full range of Perfection equipment in a compact space Decentralised installation at multiple workstations instead of a centralised solution Technical details Net volume59 l Gross capacity103 l External dimensions (H x W x D)81.9 x 59.7 x 60.5 cm Internal dimensions (H x W x D)60.0 x 38.0 x 33.0 cm Packaging dimensions (W x D x H)61.5 x 71.0 x 89.0 cm Net weight40.50 kg Gross weight42.50 kg Casing materialSteel Door materialSteel Inner containerPlastic, white Features2 shelves, 3 drawers HandleAntimicrobial, with opening mechanism Door hingeright-hand, reversible LockMechanical RefrigerantR 600a (45 g) Cooling systemCirculating air (dynamic), NoFrost, automatic defrost Temperature adjustment range-9 °C to -35 °C Temperature displayexternal, digital Fault warning signalvisual and audible Interior lightingLED connected load2.0 A / 207 W Voltage / Frequency220-240 V ~ / 50/60 Hz Connection cable3,000 mm InterfaceWi-Fi/LAN, integrated and detachable Cleanroom classISO EN 14644-1, ISO Class 5 GMP classA CertificationsDIN 13277, IEC 60068-3, IEC 61010-1, IEC 61010-2-011, IEC 61326-1 Energy consumption187 kWh/year Scope of delivery 1x Liebherr SFTvh 1501 tabletop freezer with 3 drawers User manual Individual requirements and procurement service Do you require the SFTsg 1501 freestanding model, a built-in unit for integration into furniture, or assistance in selecting the right tabletop freezer? Liebherr SFUsg 1001 under-counter freezer, 68 l, static cooling, 994788351
Where floor space is limited in the laboratory but there is still a lack of reliable under-counter freezer space, the Liebherr SFUsg 1001 provides the solution. The under-counter freezer has a net capacity of 68 litres, cools statically down to -30 °C and, thanks to front-mounted ventilation, can be flexibly integrated into laboratory furniture without the need for a separate freestanding unit. Designed for integration into laboratory furniture The SFUsg 1001 is specifically designed for installation beneath a laboratory worktop. The front-mounted air intake and exhaust eliminate the need for a separate ventilation system within the furniture, whilst the four adjustable feet can be set within a range of 0 to 60 mm to precisely align the unit with the surrounding furniture height of 82 to 88 cm. With external dimensions of 81.9 x 59.7 x 58.4 cm and a net weight of 34.90 kg, it fits under almost any standard worktop. Static cooling without ATEX requirements Unlike its structurally identical sister model, the SFUfg 1001, the SFUsg 1001 does not feature an ignition-source-free interior or the additional EN-IEC 60079-7 certification. For general laboratory applications without this requirement, it is therefore the more economical choice whilst offering virtually identical technical specifications: the same external dimensions, the same static cooling circuit, the same SmartFrost technology to prevent ice build-up, and a temperature stability of ±5 °C. The net weight of 34.90 kg and the packaging dimensions also differ only minimally from the ATEX model. Operation and safety in everyday use The temperature is displayed on an external digital display, whilst the unit signals faults visually and audibly. Defrosting is carried out manually; the antimicrobial handle with an opening mechanism and the mechanically lockable door, which can be hinged on either the right or left side, round off the features. A Wi-Fi/LAN interface can be retrofitted if required. The housing and door are made of steel, whilst the inner chamber is made of white plastic. The 3,000 mm long connection cable and 50/60 Hz frequency compatibility allow for flexible positioning within the cabinet and operation on different mains supplies. Cleanroom suitability for laboratory use According to the product data sheet, the SFUsg 1001 is designed to be cleanroom-compatible in accordance with ISO EN 14644-1 (ISO Class 6) and complies with GMP Class B, certified to IEC 60068-3, IEC 61010-1, IEC 61010-2-011 and IEC 61326-1. Energy consumption stands at 123 kWh per year, a moderate figure for an under-counter unit of this size. Compact design with a net capacity of 68 litres With internal dimensions of 52.0 x 42.4 x 38.6 cm, the SFUsg 1001 offers a net volume of 68 litres for the storage of samples and reagents, despite its compact under-counter design. With a net weight of 34.90 kg and packaging dimensions of 61.5 x 71.0 x 89.0 cm, the unit can be easily delivered and installed in the designated cabinet. The rated current of 2.0 A at 220–240 V allows operation from a standard laboratory socket without the need for a separate electrical installation. Performance Class: ease of use as a guiding principle The SFUsg 1001 belongs to the Performance Class of the Liebherr laboratory range and deliberately focuses on basic mechanical features: manual defrosting, a mechanical door lock and a digital display instead of a networked touchscreen control panel. This keeps the unit low-maintenance and easy to operate. Anyone requiring automatic defrosting and a fixed network connection will find these features in Liebherr’s Perfection Class, for example in the SFFvh or SFTvh floor-standing models in this series. Typical applications The SFUsg 1001 is suitable for laboratories wishing to integrate additional deep-freeze storage directly into the workspace without the need for ATEX certification. This allows, for example, a compact deep-freeze space to be created in a training or routine laboratory without losing valuable floor space to an additional freestanding unit. The front-facing ventilation is also a clear advantage when retrofitting existing laboratory furniture, as there is no need to incorporate an additional ventilation duct into the furniture. For businesses requiring deep-freeze storage at multiple workstations without hazardous substance requirements, the SFUsg 1001 is the more economical standard solution thanks to its lower price compared to the ATEX-certified SFUfg 1001. Furniture-integrated deep-freeze storage without ATEX requirements Training and routine laboratories with limited floor space Complement to the ignition-source-free sister model SFUfg 1001 in areas without this requirement Standard storage of samples and reagents down to –30 °C Retrofitting of existing laboratory furniture without an additional ventilation shaft Technical details Net volume68 l Gross volume91 l External dimensions (H x W x D)81.9 x 59.7 x 58.4 cm Internal dimensions (H x W x D)52.0 x 42.4 x 38.6 cm Packaging dimensions (W x D x H)61.5 x 71.0 x 89.0 cm Net weight34.90 kg Gross weight37.00 kg Casing materialSteel Door materialSteel Inner containerPlastic, white HandleAntimicrobial, with opening mechanism Adjustable feet4, height-adjustable from 0 to 60 mm Door hingeright-hand, reversible Lockmechanical RefrigerantR 600a (65 g) Cooling systemStatic, SmartFrost technology, manual defrost Temperature setting range-9 °C to -30 °C, stability ±5 °C Temperature displayexternal, digital Fault warning signalvisual and audible Internal lightingnot fitted Rated current2.0 A Voltage / Frequency220–240 V ~ / 50/60 Hz Connection cable3,000 mm InterfaceWi-Fi/LAN, retrofittable Cleanroom classISO EN 14644-1, ISO Class 6 GMP classB CertificationsIEC 60068-3, IEC 61010-1, IEC 61010-2-011, IEC 61326-1 Energy consumption123 kWh/year Contents of delivery 1x Liebherr SFUsg 1001 under-counter freezer User manual Installation instructions for built-in installation Customised requirements & procurement service Do you require the SFUfg 1001 model with ATEX 95 certification and a spark-proof interior, or do you need assistance with furniture integration? Liebherr SFFvh 5501 Laboratory Freezer 472 L NoFrost DIN 13277
The Liebherr SFFvh 5501 is a professional laboratory freezer from the Perfection series, designed for demanding storage requirements in laboratory and pharmaceutical settings. It combines a large storage capacity with advanced NoFrost technology and meets the criteria of DIN 13277 (freezers for laboratory use). NoFrost technology for maintenance-free operation A standout feature is the professional NoFrost technology. Any moisture that forms is absorbed by the dynamic recirculating air cooling system, and the unit defrosts fully automatically. The benefit: the interior remains ice-free at all times, and manual defrosting is completely eliminated. This saves working time, improves temperature stability and ensures safe, uninterrupted storage. Precise control and compliance with DIN 13277 The unit ensures stable storage within the low-temperature range of -9 °C to -35 °C. It is operated precisely via a modern 2.4-inch colour display with a ‘Touch & Swipe’ function. The unit meets all the necessary performance criteria of DIN 13277. Flexible storage and LED lighting The interior is brightly and evenly illuminated by a side-mounted LED light strip. Storage is highly flexible, with four plastic-coated shelves, each capable of supporting 60 kg, supplemented by six drawers and two baskets. Integrated connectivity and comprehensive alerting The unit is ideally equipped for comprehensive documentation and monitoring: an integrated data logger (via USB interface) records temperatures. The integrated Wi-Fi/LAN interface enables direct connection to external systems such as Liebherr SmartMonitoring. A visual and audible fault alarm, a power failure alarm (min. 12 hours) and a potential-free contact round off the safety package.
