Fripa Comfort paper towels, item number 4042102, are two-ply towels made from 100 per cent cellulose, measuring approximately 25 x 23 cm. They are V-folded and are dispensed individually from the dispenser. One box contains 3,200 sheets, divided into 20 bundles of 160 sheets each. They are manufactured by Fripa Papierfabrik Albert Friedrich KG in Miltenberg; the Comfort range includes paper suitable for various hand towel dispensers.Paper and foldThe paper is bright white with a whiteness of approximately 80 per cent in accordance with DIN EN 12625-7. Two layers, each weighing approximately 20 g/m², result in a basis weight of approximately 40 g/m². The wet strength is approximately 20 per cent. Meditrade Rollicel Stretcher Cover, 2-ply, 39 cm x 50 m, 3739-50
Not every treatment couch or beauty chair requires the full width of a standard examination table. The Meditrade Rollicel couch cover, in its narrower width variant, is a 2-ply roll made from 100 per cent cellulose, bleached without chlorine, measuring 39 cm in width and 50 m in length, providing 135 tear-off sheets, each 370 mm long. It is sold in a box of 9 rolls and is suitable for treatment areas where a more compact roll width is sufficient. Roll width exactly matches the nominal dimension With this width variant of the Rollicel range, the nominal dimension and the measured width match: The original data sheet specifies the roll height as 390 mm, i.e. exactly 39 cm, without the deviation that exists between the nominal dimension and the measured width in the case of the wider 50-cm sister roll. The roll length is 50 m, comprising 135 sheets, each 370 mm long, ensuring a consistent strip length when torn along the perforation. 2-ply with documented tear strength With a basis weight of 16 g/m² and a dry tear strength of 26.48 N/m, tested in accordance with ISO 9073, the two-ply version offers sufficient stability for multiple daily changes. As is customary with paper and non-woven products, the manufacturer specifies a production-related tolerance of ±5 per cent for weight and dimensions. Weighing 0.65 kg per roll, with an outer diameter of 13 cm and an inner core diameter of 4.0 cm, the narrower roll is noticeably lighter than the 50-cm version, which weighs 0.82 kg, which makes transport and storage easier in smaller practices. Disposable rather than fabric Unlike a fabric treatment table cover, which must be washed and dried after every treatment, the Rollicel is simply torn off and disposed of after use. This eliminates both the washing cycle and the need to stock fabric covers, and as long as the cover is replaced after every appointment, there is no risk of residue being transferred between two treatments. This offers a significant organisational advantage over reusable textiles, particularly when dealing with tightly scheduled appointments in compact treatment areas. Irritation- and allergen-free According to the manufacturer, the material is irritation- and allergen-free, as well as free from mercury, lead, cadmium and chromium(VI) compounds, an important consideration given the direct, and in some cases frequently changing, skin contact involved. The version listed here is uncoated, meaning that liquid is absorbed across the entire surface of the roll. Sustainability and durability The uncoated version bears the EU Ecolabel and is manufactured under a quality management system certified to EN ISO 13485:2016. When stored in a cool, dry place and protected from direct sunlight, the manufacturer specifies a shelf life of 5 years, which is sufficient for ordering a multi-year supply without any concerns regarding quality. Between two treatments, the treatment table cover must be changed quickly, without wasting time on time-consuming interim disinfection. The Meditrade Rollicel treatment table cover is a 2-ply roll made from 100 per cent cellulose for examination and treatment tables; it is chlorine-free bleached and, according to the manufacturer, free from mercury, lead, cadmium and chromium(VI) compounds. The roll has a nominal width of 50 cm; the actual width, according to the data sheet, is 49.7 cm, with a roll length of 50 m, providing 135 tear-off sheets, each 370 mm long. Depending on the length of the treatment table, one roll therefore covers several dozen treatments before it needs to be replaced. 2-ply and tear-resistant With a basis weight of 16 g/m² and a dry tear strength of 26.48 N/m, tested in accordance with ISO 9073, the two-ply version offers sufficient stability for multiple daily changes between patients or clients. Two layers of cellulose withstand mechanical stress caused by sitting down, repositioning or supporting the patient better than a single-layer version. According to the data sheet, weight and dimensions are subject to a production-related tolerance of ± 5 per cent, a standard manufacturing margin for paper and non-woven products. Non-irritating and allergen-free According to the manufacturer, the material is irritation- and allergen-free, an important consideration given the direct and sometimes prolonged skin contact on the treatment table, for example during physiotherapy sessions involving significant skin contact or for patients with sensitive skin. In the version listed here, Rollicel is uncoated, meaning the paper absorbs across its entire surface. Compact roll dimensions for dispensers and treatment table holders The outer diameter of the roll is 13 cm, the inner diameter of the core is 4.0 cm, and the weight per roll is 0.82 kg. These dimensions are important when selecting suitable roll holders or wall-mounted dispensers for the treatment couch, particularly if rolls of other widths are already in use there.
