For those who wish to store flammable chemicals within easy reach and in an organised manner in the laboratory, whilst ensuring there are no ignition sources inside the unit, the Liebherr SFTfg 1501 is an ATEX-compliant laboratory freezer with an ignition-source-free interior. This model, with a net capacity of 71 litres, comes factory-fitted with three plastic drawers; instead of open shelving, this allows stored items to be kept separate and organised by sample, reagent or batch. Like the shelving version, this variant also complies with cleanroom class ISO 7 and GMP class B. Safety: ignition-source-free interior in accordance with the ATEX Directive The drawer version also features a non-sparking interior and, according to the type plate, is classified as ‘II 3/-G Ex ec IIC T6 Gc/-’ in accordance with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU; the harmonised standards are EN IEC 60079-0:2018 and EN 60079-15:2010. The unit is authorised for the storage of research samples, reagents, laboratory equipment and chemicals such as ethanol, acetone or isopropanol, provided their flash point is above temperature class T6, i.e. above 85 °C. Chemically unstable substances, as well as blood, plasma or other bodily fluids intended for infusion, are expressly excluded from storage. The explosion protection applies exclusively to the interior of the unit: according to the operating instructions, the unit itself is not intended for installation in potentially explosive atmospheres; the installation site must be located outside an Ex zone. Temperature control and cooling capacity The static cooling system ensures uniform cooling within the adjustable range of -9 °C to -30 °C, with a temperature gradient of 7.4 °C and a maximum fluctuation of 3.3 °C. Defrosting is carried out manually; the refrigerant used is the natural R 600a with a charge of 60 g. The permissible ambient temperature at the installation site is between +10 °C and +35 °C; annual energy consumption is 180 kWh. With a sound power level of 40 dB(A), the unit is barely noticeable during everyday laboratory use, even when positioned directly within the workspace. Interior fitted with three plastic drawers Instead of open shelving, this version features three plastic drawers in which samples, reagents or batches can be stored separately and clearly organised, without having to open the other drawers when removing one. As with the shelving version, the maximum total load capacity is 120 kg. An antimicrobial handle with an opening mechanism makes operation easier even when wearing laboratory gloves; a mechanical lock, including two keys, secures the interior; and the door hinge is on the right-hand side but can be reversed. A 10 mm diameter sensor feed-through allows an external temperature sensor to be inserted, for example for independent temperature monitoring. Controls, Alarms and Networking Operation is via a monochrome display with touch buttons. In the event of a fault, the unit issues visual and audible alerts; following a power cut, it automatically alerts the user when power is restored, making an unnoticed interruption to the cold chain less likely. A potential-free contact with a rating of up to 8.0 A at a maximum of 30 V DC is provided for connection to an external building management system or alarm system. Via the SmartModule system, the unit can also be networked via Wi-Fi or LAN; both interfaces can be retrofitted as optional extras and enable centralised recording and documentation of temperature data. Suitable for cleanrooms in GMP environments With ISO Class 7 in accordance with ISO EN 14664-1 and GMP Class B, the drawer version of the SFTfg 1501 is also suitable for applications with heightened cleanroom requirements, such as in pharmaceutical quality control or in research areas with corresponding documentation requirements. The insulated glass door offers a view of up to 512 0.33-litre cans, whilst the forced-air cooling system ensures that newly stocked items quickly reach drinking temperature. With a net capacity of 385 litres, this drinks fridge offers enough space for a wide range of tins and bottles, from small long-neck bottles to large PET bottles. Glass door with forced-air cooling for rapid cooling The insulated glass door with a plastic frame allows the contents to be seen at all times without customers having to open the door, which also prevents cold air loss and maintains a stable cooling performance. The dynamic forced-air cooling system distributes the cold air evenly throughout the interior and quickly cools freshly stocked drinks down to the set temperature range of +2 °C to +12 °C. An LED strip light on the right-hand side further highlights the products and makes the fridge clearly visible even from a distance. The unit can be operated at ambient temperatures ranging from +10 °C to 40 °C. Black or white: match the look to your shop The FKDv 4213 is available in black and white, allowing it to be adapted to the respective shop interior. The only technical difference lies in the inner liner: the black version has a silver-coloured plastic inner liner, whilst the white version has a white one. The ergonomic bar handle, cooling capacity and load capacity are identical for both colours, so the choice of colour is determined solely by the desired look. Wer im Labor Proben auf kleinstem Raum strukturiert nach Substanzart trennen will, findet in der Ausführung 740 des Liebherr SFTsg 1501 eine Variante mit drei zusätzlichen Schubladen statt reiner Ablageflächen. Anders als bei den größeren SFFfg/SFFsg-Baugrößen sinkt das Nettovolumen dabei nicht, sondern steigt sogar leicht von 69 auf 71 Liter, weil die Innengeometrie des kompakten Tischgeräts anders ausfällt als bei den größeren Standgeräten. Das Bruttovolumen von 101 Litern bleibt unverändert, von außen ist die Schubladen-Ausführung nicht von der Standardvariante zu unterscheiden. Drei Schubladen für strukturierte Probentrennung Statt drei offener Ablageflächen sind im Gefrierteil zwei Ablageflächen und drei Kunststoffschubladen verbaut. Für Labore, die auch auf kleinem Raum unterschiedliche Proben oder Chargen sauber voneinander getrennt lagern müssen, ist das ein praktischer Vorteil gegenüber rein offenen Ablagen, auf denen sich Probenbehälter leichter vermischen können. Für Labore, die auf kleinem Raum sowohl strukturierte Fächereinteilung als auch eine platzsparende Aufstellung brauchen, verbindet diese Ausführung beide Vorteile, ohne dass dafür ein größeres Standgerät mit entsprechend höherem Nettovolumen angeschafft werden müsste. Bedienkomfort und Aufstellung Der antimikrobielle Griff mit integrierter Öffnungsmechanik erleichtert die Bedienung auch mit Handschuhen. Mit Außenmaßen von 81,9 x 59,7 x 60,5 cm (H x B x T), identisch zur Standardausführung, und einem Nettogewicht von 39,00 kg lässt sich auch die Schubladen-Ausführung auf einer Arbeitsfläche oder in einer Laborecke mit begrenztem Platzangebot aufstellen, ohne dass dafür eine eigene Stellfläche in Raumhöhe reserviert werden muss.
