This set includes 2 large-volume DURAN ® Erlenmeyer flasks (narrow-necked), each with a capacity of 3000 ml. This size is perfect for preparing culture media, storing solutions or carrying out chemical reactions on a larger scale. The conical shape, in accordance with DIN ISO 1773, ensures efficient mixing, whilst the narrow neck minimises the risk of spillage and evaporation.

DURAN ® borosilicate glass 3.3 – robustness for continuous use

Stability is crucial, particularly with large glass vessels. The DURAN ® borosilicate glass 3.3 used guarantees uniform wall thickness and maximum mechanical strength. The flasks are extremely resistant to chemical influences and thermal shock. They can be safely heated on large hotplates and autoclaved for sterilisation (121 °C / 134 °C).

Quality features for professional use

The reinforced flanged rim protects the neck area from damage – an important factor when handling heavy, filled flasks. To ensure quality, each vessel bears a trace code (batch certificate available online). The clearly legible scale and the large labelling area made of white ceramic facilitate day-to-day work in the laboratory.
