1 litre capacity with a convenient wide-neck opening

With this set of 10, you receive DURAN ® Erlenmeyer flasks with a nominal volume of 1000 ml (1 litre) in the wide-neck design. The 50 mm opening is a real advantage over the standard narrow-neck version for this size. Not only does it allow for the quick and clean addition of powders for culture media, but it also makes mechanical cleaning of the large vessel considerably easier. Furthermore, microbiological cultures benefit from the improved oxygen supply provided by the wide mouth.

DURAN ® Borosilicate glass 3.3 – Durability for professionals

Manufactured in accordance with DIN EN ISO 24450 from high-quality borosilicate glass 3.3, these flasks are designed for demanding laboratory applications. They are characterised by extreme chemical resistance and high thermal shock resistance. The material withstands rapid temperature changes and is perfectly suited to regular autoclaving (121 °C / 134 °C) as well as heating on a magnetic stirrer.

Safety and traceability

The reinforced flared rim ensures the necessary stability at the neck. A printed Retrace Code on each flask enables complete traceability of the production batch (certificate available online). The clearly legible scale, made of fired white ceramic, and the large labelling area facilitate accurate documentation in day-to-day laboratory work.
