The standard flask with an extra-wide mouth

With this set of 10, you get the indispensable laboratory standard – the 250 ml Erlenmeyer flask – in the convenient wide-neck design. The generous neck opening of 50 mm is the key advantage over the narrow-neck version (34 mm). It makes cleaning a breeze, even with brushes, and allows solids, granules or large stirring rods to be added with ease. It also significantly improves aeration for microbiological cultures.

DURAN ® Borosilicate glass 3.3 – Certified durability

Manufactured in accordance with DIN EN ISO 24450 from high-quality borosilicate glass 3.3, these flasks offer the highest level of safety in everyday laboratory use. They are extremely resistant to acids, alkalis and organic solvents. Thanks to their high thermal shock resistance, they can be safely heated on a hotplate and sterilised time and time again (autoclavable at 121 °C / 134 °C).

Durability and traceability

The reinforced flanged rim protects the wide mouth from mechanical damage. Each flask is marked with a Retrace Code, which ensures complete batch traceability right back to the production stage (certificate available online). The clearly legible scale, made from fired white ceramic, and the large labelling area facilitate organisation and handling.
