The combination of the classic standard laboratory glass volume and the wide 50 mm neck opening makes this vessel extremely versatile. Whether for preparing culture media where powders need to be added, or for cultures requiring good surface aeration – this flask makes the work process significantly easier. Furthermore, the wide neck allows for easy cleaning, even with stubborn residues.
DURAN ® Borosilicate Glass 3.3 – Robustness to industry standards
Manufactured in accordance with DIN EN ISO 24450 from pure DURAN ® borosilicate glass 3.3, these flasks are synonymous with durability and safety. The material is highly resistant to almost all chemical substances as well as to thermal shock. You can autoclave the flasks without hesitation (121 °C / 134 °C) and use them for heating processes on a hotplate without fear of the glass breaking.
Quality features and traceability
The reinforced flared rim provides stability at the 50 mm wide mouth. A printed trace code on each flask guarantees full traceability of the production batch (certificate available online).
