Product information "Memmert HCP50 humidity chamber, 56 l, +18 °C to +90 °C"
Precise environmental simulation in a compact space
The Memmert HCP50 humidity chamber is the ideal high-performance unit for applications requiring precise control of temperature and humidity within a limited space. With an internal volume of 56 litres, this model is the perfect choice for stability testing, environmental simulations or accelerated life cycle testing in the pharmaceutical industry, electronics development or materials research. Memmert’s HCP series is characterised by unrivalled homogeneity within the chamber, ensuring that every sample – regardless of its position – is exposed to identical conditions.
Active humidity control for reproducible results
A key feature of the HCP50 is its active humidification and dehumidification system. Unlike passive systems, active control enables an extremely wide humidity range of 20% to 95% RH, which is precisely regulated regardless of the temperature. Humidity is supplied via an external water tank and a self-priming pump, thereby minimising the risk of condensation forming inside the chamber. This is particularly critical during long-term tests, where even the slightest fluctuations could compromise the validity of the results. The digital control system guarantees an extremely fast recovery time after the door is opened.
Maximum hygiene through integrated sterilisation
The interior of the HCP50 is made from high-quality, electropolished stainless steel (grade 1.4301), which not only guarantees a long service life but also enables easy, residue-free cleaning. A key safety feature is the integrated sterilisation programme: The entire interior, including all sensors, can be sterilised at +160 °C to reliably prevent cross-contamination. The chamber is controlled via the intuitive TwinDISPLAY system. Two high-resolution TFT colour graphic displays allow for the simultaneous monitoring of all parameters and the simple programming of complex ramp profiles directly on the unit or via software.
Process reliability and comprehensive documentation
In regulated sectors such as the pharmaceutical industry or medical technology, the documentation of environmental data is essential. The HCP50 features an internal data logger with a capacity of at least 10 years, which records all measured values in a tamper-proof manner. This data can be exported at any time via the Ethernet interface or the USB port and analysed using the AtmoCONTROL software. Multiple temperature and humidity safeguards, such as the electronic temperature monitor (TWW) and the AutoSAFETY system, protect your valuable samples from critical deviations around the clock.
