Where heating or cooking takes place over a longer period, the tall, slender design really comes into its own: the smaller liquid surface area reduces evaporation, and the beaker saves space on narrow heating blocks or in a water bath. The spout allows for neat pouring.

Material and thermal properties

Made from borosilicate glass 3.3, this beaker offers high chemical resistance and excellent thermal shock resistance. It is suitable for use on hotplates and for rapid temperature changes, and is autoclavable.

Graduation

The printed, fired-on white ceramic scale allows the volume to be estimated and is resistant to abrasion and chemicals.

Complies with ISO 3819.
