This set contains 10 original DURAN ® Erlenmeyer flasks (narrow-necked) with a nominal volume of 500 ml. This size is part of the standard equipment in any laboratory and is ideal for medium-sized batches, storing media or as a reaction vessel. The standardised conical shape (DIN ISO 1773) allows for efficient mixing by swirling, whilst the narrow neck minimises the risk of splashing and evaporation.

Maximum durability thanks to DURAN ® borosilicate glass 3.3

Manufactured from high-quality borosilicate glass 3.3, these flasks are characterised by their universal chemical resistance. They easily withstand acids, salt solutions and organic solvents. Thanks to their uniform wall thickness distribution, they are mechanically robust and extremely resistant to thermal shock – ideal for direct use on a hotplate or frequent autoclaving at 121 °C or 134 °C.

Safety and traceability

Each flask features a Retrace Code, which enables seamless batch traceability right back to the production stage (certificate available online). The easy-to-read scale and the large labelling field made of fired white ceramic facilitate day-to-day laboratory work. The reinforced flanged rim provides additional stability around the mouth of the flask.
