Elma modular cleaning basket 1119922 for Elmasonic size 20

Watch components, jewellery and laboratory glassware are on Elma's list of items cleaned with the Easy series. The Elma Elmasonic Easy 20H has 1.6 litres total volume, a heater and an ultrasonic frequency of 37 kHz. Elma aims the series at watchmakers, jewellers, metalworking companies, workshops, and research and development laboratories. The unit is operated via two rotary knobs, a start/stop button and a mode button, and it has no display.Tank, fill level and basketThe tank measures 140 x 125 x 95 mm internally and holds 1.6 litres, with 1.2 litres of working volume recommended. The fill level is 60 mm, and it is 40 mm from the basket floor to the liquid level. The modular cleaning basket 20 (item no. 1119922) has internal dimensions of 110 x 105 x 50 mm and may be loaded with a maximum of 1.0 kg. The enclosed plastic lid can be turned upside down and used as a drip tray for a basket.Rotary knobs, start/stop button and mode buttonThe first rotary knob sets the cleaning duration and at the same time switches the unit on and off, while ultrasonic cleaning itself is started and ended with the start/stop button. The steps are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 minutes. In the ON position the bath runs in continuous operation and stops by itself after 6 hours at most. The second rotary knob sets the temperature, and the temperature range is 25 to 80 °C. With the mode button you switch between Eco and Dynamic: Eco is the quieter mode, Dynamic the more intensive one. LED indicators show the status. The Easy series has no programs, nor Sweep, Pulse or Degas. If the unit is left for 8 hours without operation, it switches off.Power, heating and sound levelThe ultrasonic power is 35 W effective at 280 W peak, the heater has 120 W, and the total power consumption is 155 W. At a bath temperature of 90 °C, a safety shutdown is triggered. With lid, the sound pressure level at a distance of 1 m stays below 80 dB(A). The 20H has no drain connection, and to empty it the unit is tilted over a sink. With external dimensions of 215 x 190 x 230 mm and 2.1 kg (with lid), the unit is compact. The tank is 95 mm deep.The neighbours in the Easy seriesThe Easy 30H has a larger tank with 2.7 litres and internal dimensions of 220 x 120 x 95 mm, and the depth of 95 mm is the same. The Easy 40H holds 3.9 litres at a tank depth of 145 mm. Among the heated Easy models, only the Easy 10H with 0.9 litres is smaller.
