The IKA INC 125 FC digital (MPN 0020126186) is the ideal solution for microbiological applications that require more than just standard incubation. Hygiene of the highest standard: 100 °C decontamination

In microbiology, cross-contamination is the enemy of any valid experimental series. The INC 125 FC digital addresses this risk with an uncompromising solution: a special decontamination mode. The unit can heat the interior to a full 100 °C to effectively kill germs, bacteria and fungal spores. This thermal disinfection eliminates the need for aggressive chemicals and gives you the assurance that every new experiment can be started in a hygienically impeccable environment. The interior, made from corrosion-resistant AISI 304 stainless steel, also features rounded corners and is extremely easy to clean.

Perfect air circulation for consistent results

‘FC’ stands for Forced Circulation – that is, active air circulation. But IKA goes one step further: the fan speed is electronically adjustable (0 to 100 per cent). This gives you full control over the climate inside the cabinet.

  • High fan speed: Ensures rapid temperature stabilisation and uniform heat distribution, ideal when the cabinet is fully loaded.
  • Reduced fan speed: Prevents sensitive samples (e.g. open microtitre plates or Agaplate) from drying out due to excessive draughts. An integrated air filter at the air inlet also ensures that the circulating air remains clean.

Sustainability and modern design

The INC 125 FC uses the natural refrigerant R290. This not only makes the unit particularly environmentally friendly, but also ensures efficient cooling performance with low energy consumption. The excellent insulation minimises heat loss and reduces running costs. Thanks to its modern, stackable design, you can simply place a second unit (with the appropriate adapter) on top if you need more space, without losing valuable floor space. The door hinge can be reversed if required, making it easier to integrate into existing laboratory layouts.

Intuitive operation and safety

The large, high-contrast LED display shows all relevant parameters at a glance. Timer functions, temperature ramps and limit values can be easily programmed via the intuitive membrane keypad. Safety features such as independent temperature protection (TWB) and visual/audible alarms in the event of deviations protect your valuable samples round the clock.
