The IKA KS 130 basic is a small, quiet orbital shaker, specially designed for gentle to vigorous agitation in everyday laboratory use. With a shaking stroke of 4 mm and an orbital motion, it is ideal for mixing tasks in small vessels, such as in diagnostics or the preparation of suspensions. Despite its compact dimensions, the unit offers excellent stability and is designed for a maximum load of 2.0 kg.

Durability and ease of use

The KS 130 basic is designed for durability: low-wear drive technology ensures low-maintenance operation even during continuous use. Operation is intuitive via rotary controls. An integrated LED display provides information at all times on the set speed and the remaining running time, which significantly simplifies process monitoring.

Flexibility in process control

The unit offers two operating modes for maximum flexibility: it can be used both in timed operation (timer function from 5 to 50 minutes) and in continuous operation. The speed range is continuously adjustable from 0 to 800 rpm, allowing the intensity to be precisely adapted to the viscosity of the sample and the requirements of the application.
