The IKA PETTE fix 500 µl is the ideal solution for frequently recurring pipetting tasks involving fixed volumes. Thanks to its combination of low weight and an ergonomic design – which has been recognised with the German Design Award – it remains comfortable to hold even during long pipetting runs. The scope of delivery includes three interchangeable grips in sizes XS, S and M, allowing each user to customise the fit to suit their hand size – a crucial factor in preventing RSI (repetitive strain injury).

Maximum robustness and hygiene

This air-displacement pipette is built to withstand the rigours of everyday laboratory use: the piston is coated with a special DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating, making it extremely wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant. The PVDF tip cone ensures impact resistance and chemical resistance. A particularly practical feature is that the entire pipette is fully autoclavable at 121 °C. It does not need to be dismantled for sterilisation, which saves time and prevents errors during reassembly.

Precision and ease of maintenance

The IKA PETTE fix meets the stringent requirements of ISO 8655. Should recalibration nevertheless be necessary, you can carry this out yourself without tools and in a matter of seconds thanks to its intelligent design. The universal tip cone is designed to be compatible with standard pipette tips from most major manufacturers, ensuring flexibility when sourcing consumables.
