The IKA PETTE MicroKit A is the tailor-made solution for laboratories that prioritise the highest precision with the smallest volumes. With comprehensive coverage from 0.1 µl to 100 µl, this set is perfectly suited to demanding applications in molecular biology, such as PCR reactions, DNA sequencing or enzyme studies. The three IKA PETTE vario pipettes included in the set guarantee precise dispensing results and reproducible data thanks to their high-quality design – exactly where every microlitre counts.

Ergonomics meets durability

Ergonomics and durability were central to the development of the IKA PETTE series. The pipettes are particularly lightweight and, thanks to the interchangeable grips (included with every pipette), fit perfectly in the hand, effectively preventing fatigue during long pipetting sessions. For maximum robustness, the piston and cone are made of DLC-coated (Diamond-Like Carbon) stainless steel. This coating makes the moving parts extremely wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant, whilst ensuring smooth sliding action.

Everything you need to get started straight away

The MicroKit A is supplied as a well-designed complete package. The included IKA Linea pipette stand ensures safe and organised storage of your instruments right at your workstation. Two boxes of matching pipette tips are also included, so you’re ready to go straight away. To ensure sterile working conditions, all pipettes are fully autoclavable at 121 °C – without the need for time-consuming dismantling. Maintenance and calibration can be carried out quickly and without tools, if required.
