The IKA PETTE MicroKit B has been specifically designed for laboratories working with very small volumes in the fields of microbiology and molecular biology. This kit provides comprehensive coverage of the critical volume range from 0.1 µl to 200 µl. Whether for DNA amplification, enzyme assays or general PCR applications – with the three precision pipettes (IKA PETTE vario) included, you are ideally equipped for demanding tasks. The combination of an ultra-lightweight design and precise dispensing technology ensures the highest level of reproducibility.

Ergonomics and material quality

The pipettes included in the set are characterised by their well-thought-out ergonomics. Each individual pipette comes with three interchangeable grips, which allow for perfect adaptation to the shape of the hand, thereby minimising the risk of repetitive strain injuries (RSI). Technically, these models set new standards: the piston and tip cone are made of DLC-coated stainless steel (Diamond-Like Carbon). This coating ensures extreme wear resistance, corrosion resistance and minimal friction during pipetting.

Ready to go straight away, thanks to the system

The MicroKit B is supplied as a complete solution that promotes order and efficiency in the workplace. The included IKA Linea pipette stand provides a secure hold for all three instruments and ensures they are always kept within easy reach and protected from contamination. In addition, two boxes of matching pipette tips are included, so you can start work straight away. All pipettes are fully autoclavable at 121 °C and can be serviced and calibrated without the need for tools.
