The IKA PETTE multi 12 x 10–100 µl is the ideal solution for laboratories processing large volumes of samples in 96-well plates. With 12 channels and a variable volume range of 10 to 100 µl (adjustable in 0.1 µl increments), it is perfectly suited to demanding applications such as ELISA assays, PCR preparations or cell culture work. The ergonomic design, requiring minimal operating force, is gentle on the wrists, whilst three interchangeable handles in different sizes allow for individual adaptation to the user’s hand.

Precision and material quality

IKA adheres to the highest material standards with this multichannel pipette as well. The pistons and tip cones are made of stainless steel and feature a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating. This finish makes the pipette extremely resistant to chemicals and mechanical wear. At the same time, the smooth surface ensures minimal friction, which noticeably facilitates pipetting and tip ejection. The design ensures that all 12 tips fit perfectly and seal at all times.

Hygiene and easy maintenance

To ensure maximum process reliability and sterility, the IKA PETTE multi is fully autoclavable at 121 °C. Disassembly prior to autoclaving is not required, which saves time and reduces the risk of contamination. For maintenance purposes, the volumetric unit can be dismantled and cleaned without tools thanks to its well-thought-out design. The user can also carry out any necessary recalibration independently and without special tools to ensure continued compliance with the requirements of ISO 8655.
