Efficient high-throughput sample processing

The IKA PETTE multi 12 x 20–200 µl is tailored to the requirements of modern laboratories that process large volumes of samples in microtitre plates on a daily basis. With 12 channels and a variable volume range of 20 to 200 µl (adjustable in 0.2 µl increments), it enables the precise and time-saving filling of 96-well plates. The ergonomic design significantly reduces the manual effort required during long pipetting runs. Thanks to the three interchangeable grips included in the scope of delivery, the instrument can be individually adjusted to suit the user’s hand size, which improves balance and effectively prevents fatigue.

Robustness and precision through DLC technology

To ensure maximum durability and consistent precision, the pistons and tip cones of all 12 channels are made of stainless steel and finished with a high-quality DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating. This extremely hard, diamond-like surface is not only wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant, but also minimises friction. The result is exceptionally smooth gliding action during pipetting and a reliable seal for the tips – channel by channel.

Maximum hygiene and easy maintenance

The IKA PETTE multi prioritises uncompromising hygiene: it is fully autoclavable at 121 °C without the need for prior disassembly. This saves time and enhances process reliability in sterile working areas. For regular cleaning, the volumetric unit can be dismantled without tools. If necessary, the user can also carry out adjustments independently and without special tools to ensure compliance with ISO 8655. A large, mechanical display ensures that the set volume is always clearly legible.
