The IKA PETTE multi 8 x 0.5–10 µl is the ideal multichannel pipette for precise work with microtitre plates in the low-volume range. With 8 channels and a variable setting range of 0.5 to 10 µl, it enables parallel pipetting in 96-well plates, which drastically reduces the time required for routine tasks such as ELISA or PCR set-ups. The fine increment of 0.01 µl guarantees the highest accuracy. Thanks to its ergonomic design and the three interchangeable grips supplied, the instrument fits perfectly in the hand, minimises strain and ensures comfortable working even during long pipetting runs.

Durability thanks to high-tech materials

IKA utilises state-of-the-art materials technology in its design. The pistons and tip cones of all 8 channels are made from stainless steel and finished with a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating. This extremely hard and smooth surface not only makes the pipette resistant to chemicals and wear, but also ensures consistently low operating forces. The tips fit securely on all channels and can be ejected smoothly thanks to the optimised mechanism.

Uncompromising hygiene and maintenance

For sensitive applications in molecular biology, the IKA PETTE multi is fully autoclavable at 121 °C. There is no need for time-consuming dismantling, which simplifies sterility assurance in day-to-day laboratory work. Should cleaning or maintenance be required, the volumetric unit can be dismantled without tools in just a few steps. The user can also carry out calibration independently and without special tools to ensure compliance with ISO 8655 standards.
