Efficient sample processing in 96-well plates

The IKA PETTE multi 8 x 10–100 µl is an indispensable tool for laboratories with medium to high sample throughput. With its 8 channels and a variable volume range of 10 to 100 µl, it enables the parallel and precise filling of microtitre plates. This is particularly advantageous for applications such as ELISA assays, serial dilutions or molecular biology screenings. Volume adjustment is carried out in fine 0.1 µl increments. The ergonomic design, combined with three interchangeable grips in different sizes, ensures an optimal grip and reduces fatigue during repetitive pipetting tasks.

Robustness and durability thanks to DLC

For long-term use under demanding conditions, the pistons and tip cones of all 8 channels are made from high-quality stainless steel and finished with a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating. This coating gives the components extreme hardness and wear resistance. It also minimises friction, enabling particularly smooth tip loading and ejection whilst ensuring a tight fit for every single tip.

Maximum hygiene and ease of maintenance

The IKA PETTE multi meets the highest hygiene standards: it is fully autoclavable at 121 °C without the need for prior disassembly. This saves valuable time and minimises the risk of contamination. Should maintenance be required, the volumetric unit can be dismantled and cleaned without the need for tools. Adjustments can also be carried out by the user independently and without special tools, if necessary, to ensure compliance with ISO 8655 at all times.
