The IKA PETTE vario 10–100 µl is an indispensable instrument for day-to-day liquid handling in laboratories that demand the highest standards of accuracy and reproducibility. With a variable volume range of 10 to 100 µl and fine increments of 0.1 µl, it covers a wide range of applications – from the preparation of analytical sample series to cell culture. Its ergonomic design ensures minimal effort is required when pipetting and ejecting the tip. The scope of delivery includes three interchangeable grips in different sizes, which allow for individual adaptation to any hand size and thus ensure ergonomic working.

Robust construction for long-term use

Designed for durability, the piston and tip cone are made of stainless steel with a special DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating. This diamond-like surface makes the moving parts extremely resistant to wear and chemicals. The housing, made from high-quality plastics (PPS/PVDF), is shock-resistant, UV-resistant and resistant to common laboratory disinfectants. The universal cone geometry (colour code: yellow) guarantees compatibility with pipette tips from most leading manufacturers.

Hygiene, maintenance and ISO compliance

Maximum process reliability is ensured by full autoclavability at 121 °C – there is no need to dismantle the pipette for this. However, for cleaning or maintenance purposes, the volume unit can be removed without tools in a matter of seconds. Calibration can also be carried out by the user independently without special tools, which minimises downtime and simplifies compliance with ISO 8655 standards. A large display ensures that the set volume can be read reliably at all times.
