The IKA PETTE vario 20–200 µl is the all-round solution for a wide range of standard laboratory applications, from clinical diagnostics to chemical analysis. With a variable volume range of 20 to 200 µl and precise adjustment in 0.2 µl increments, it offers the flexibility required for varying pipetting requirements. Thanks to its ergonomic design and the three interchangeable grips included in the scope of delivery, the pipette can be individually adapted to the user’s hand size, ensuring fatigue-free working even over extended periods.

Durability and material quality

Designed for heavy-duty laboratory use, the piston and tip cone feature a high-quality DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating. This finish on the stainless steel core ensures extreme hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The PPS and PVDF housing makes the instrument resistant to aggressive chemicals and UV radiation. The pipette is fitted with a universal tip holder (colour code: yellow), which allows for trouble-free use with pipette tips from almost all manufacturers.

Ease of maintenance and sterility

The IKA PETTE vario sets new standards in hygiene: it is fully autoclavable at 121 °C without the need for prior disassembly. This saves valuable time and increases process reliability during sterile work. Should cleaning or maintenance be required, the volumetric unit can be dismantled without tools in a matter of seconds. Adjustments can also be carried out directly by the user without additional tools, if required, to ensure compliance with standards (ISO 8655).
