Particularly where several production shifts in succession access the same storage area, the organisation of the interior determines how smoothly day-to-day operations run. The Liebherr BFPSvh 8401 is built precisely for this purpose: a bakery freezer storage cabinet with a net capacity of 700 litres, forced air circulation cooling and constructed entirely from chrome-nickel steel.

700 litres for large production volumes

With a net capacity of 700 litres (854 litres gross), the cabinet offers ample space for 600 x 800 mm baking trays on a footprint of 78.7 x 101.7 cm. All 25 shelves in the freezer compartment are adjustable, allowing the interior to be flexibly adapted to different tray sizes and load volumes. With a height of 211.5 cm and an interior measuring 150.4 x 60.7 x 80.0 cm, it maintains a compact footprint despite its high capacity, allowing it to be integrated into existing bakery layouts without the need to redesign the entire floor plan.

Reliable even in warm ambient temperatures

The BFPSvh 8401 is designed for ambient temperatures ranging from +10 °C to 40 °C, making it suitable for bakeries where the heat from ovens and ongoing production can cause the temperature to rise. The temperature inside the chamber can be set between -9 °C and -35 °C, and the digital external display shows the current temperature at all times without the need to open the door.

Chrome-nickel steel inside and out

The housing, door and inner container are made entirely of 1.4301 (AISI 304) chrome-nickel steel. The material is corrosion-resistant, easy to clean and withstands the daily cleaning routines of food production, a key consideration for hygiene requirements in bakeries. As the housing, door and inner container are made from the same material, there are no material transitions where moisture or residues could accumulate.

Automatic defrosting and LED lighting

The freezer compartment defrosts automatically, eliminating the need for manual intervention during normal operation. An LED light column on the left-hand side of the interior ensures good visibility when loading and unloading; in the event of a fault, the cabinet alerts the user both visually and audibly, an advantage when the storage room is not continuously occupied.

Networked monitoring

Thanks to the integrated, removable networking solution with a Wi-Fi/LAN interface, the BFPSvh 8401 can be integrated into an existing monitoring system, practical for businesses that need to document temperature trends or keep a centralised overview of multiple refrigeration and freezer units.

Well thought-out for everyday use

The adjustable feet can be set to heights between 115 and 175 mm, ensuring the cabinet stands firmly even on uneven floors and can be fitted more easily under worktops or into recesses. The door hinge is reversible, so the opening direction can be adapted to the specific layout of the bakery. A continuous handle strip makes it easy to open the door even when your hands are full, whilst a mechanical lock secures the interior when required.
