It requires a refrigerant charge of just 42 g of R 600a – a practical benefit of its compact design, particularly for locations with limited power supply.

Temperature range and operation

The freezer compartment can be set between -10 °C and -24 °C; an analogue temperature display inside the unit shows the current reading. Defrosting is carried out manually, and a lock can be retrofitted mechanically if required – a practical feature for locations without constant supervision, such as when the chest freezer is left freely accessible in an entrance hall outside opening hours.

Set up in a matter of minutes

With a net weight of 42 kg and a 3,000 mm power cable, the EFE 1500 can be moved to its intended location and connected straight away with minimal effort. The permissible ambient temperature ranges from +10 °C to 35 °C, which is sufficient for most retail spaces and covered outdoor areas.

If more space is needed later

The EFE 1500 is designed as an entry-level model, not as a compromise. If, during operation, it becomes apparent that the product range is expanding and the 121 litres are no longer sufficient, it is straightforward to switch to a larger model within the same series without any fundamental changes to operation or installation. For a first location or a seasonal trial period, this compact chest freezer is therefore a low-risk entry-level option.
