With a capacity of 542 litres, the EFL 6056 is one of the larger chest freezers in Liebherr’s catering range. According to Liebherr, the Total Display Area (TDA) ensures that ice cream, snacks or other frozen goods are clearly visible and attractively displayed across the entire available surface, rather than disappearing into the depths of the chest. Three baskets supplied as standard also help to organise smaller packs so they are within easy reach.

Cold air stays inside, even when the lid is open

Unlike a side-opening door, a chest with a lid keeps the cold air inside: as cold air is heavier than warm air, it sinks downwards and barely escapes when the lid is opened. This is particularly beneficial in retail environments where the lid is opened many times a day. The static cooling system reliably maintains the temperature within the range of -14 °C to -24 °C, without drying out sensitive frozen goods through forced air circulation.

Suitable for use even at high ambient temperatures

The EFL 6056 is designed for ambient temperatures ranging from -15 °C to +43 °C and therefore remains reliably operational even in summer or in poorly air-conditioned locations. The R 600a refrigerant has a charge of 104 g, and annual energy consumption is 277 kWh.

Robust design for everyday retail use

The stainless steel lid is scratch-resistant and easy to clean; the housing is made of steel and the inner container of pre-coated steel. LED lighting ensures a clear view of the stocked range, whilst a mechanical lock in the recessed handle secures the contents outside opening hours. Manual defrosting can be carried out quickly when needed, with minimal effort thanks to the smooth interior walls.

Combined with the Total Display Area, the EFL 6056 is not just a storage space, but part of the sales area: the product range can be presented clearly, without having to search inside.

Liebherr supplies the EFL 6056 packaged with dimensions of 190.3 x 73.3 x 84.0 cm and a gross weight of 99.00 kg; the net weight of the unit once installed is 89.00 kg. The chest freezer is manufactured at the Liebherr plant in Kluang.
