Displaying drinks in the sales area so they are visible and within easy reach, without them getting warm: that’s what the Liebherr FKDv 4213 is designed for. The insulated glass door offers a view of up to 512 0.33-litre cans, whilst the forced-air cooling system ensures that newly stocked items quickly reach drinking temperature. With a net capacity of 385 litres, this drinks fridge offers enough space for a wide range of tins and bottles, from small long-neck bottles to large PET bottles.

Glass door with forced-air cooling for rapid cooling

The insulated glass door with a plastic frame allows the contents to be seen at all times without customers having to open the door, which also prevents cold air loss and maintains a stable cooling performance. The dynamic forced-air cooling system distributes the cold air evenly throughout the interior and quickly cools freshly stocked drinks down to the set temperature range of +2 °C to +12 °C. An LED strip light on the right-hand side further highlights the products and makes the fridge clearly visible even from a distance. The unit can be operated at ambient temperatures ranging from +10 °C to 40 °C.

Black or white: match the look to your shop

The FKDv 4213 is available in black and white, allowing it to be adapted to the respective shop interior. The only technical difference lies in the inner liner: the black version has a silver-coloured plastic inner liner, whilst the white version has a white one. The ergonomic bar handle, cooling capacity and load capacity are identical for both colours, so the choice of colour is determined solely by the desired look.

Typical applications

The FKDv 4213 is suitable for retail areas in petrol stations, kiosks and snack bars, for self-service canteens and cafeterias, as well as for the hotel and catering sectors where drinks are to be displayed for self-service. Its high loading capacity of up to 512 cans also makes it an attractive option for locations with high customer footfall, such as busy sales counters or self-service break rooms.

Features and loading

Six plastic-coated shelves, each with a load capacity of up to 45 kg, can be adjusted to accommodate different container sizes, from 0.33-litre tins to 1.5-litre PET bottles. According to the loading table, it can hold up to 512 cans, 256 long-neck bottles, 256 0.5-litre PET bottles, 129 1.0-litre PET bottles or 72 1.5-litre PET bottles, depending on how the shelves are arranged. The ergonomic bar handle makes it easier to open the door frequently during daily operations, and the door hinge can be switched to the right-hand side. Defrosting takes place automatically, so staff do not need to worry about ice build-up. The temperature display is located inside and is analogue, so it is clearly visible during filling.

Connection and energy efficiency

The power consumption is just 1.5 A at 220 to 240 V and 50 Hz; the power cable is 2,200 mm long, which is sufficient for most installation locations at the sales counter. The climate-friendly refrigerant R 600a is used, with a charge of 55 g. A fixed networking solution is not provided for this model; however, the low power consumption during continuous operation at the sales counter is a key advantage.
