In a bar or a small kitchen, every centimetre of workspace counts; at the same time, fresh produce needs to be kept at the correct temperature and within easy reach. The Liebherr FRTCvg 1501, a built-in commercial table-top fridge, is designed precisely to strike this balance: compact external dimensions, a stainless steel housing and an extended temperature range from -2 °C to +15 °C. As part of the Liebherr Perfection range, the unit combines first-class energy efficiency with ease of use in day-to-day kitchen operations.

Under-counter design for space-saving use

With external dimensions of 85.2 x 60 x 64.8 cm (H/W/D) and a net weight of 37.10 kg, the FRTCvg 1501 can be integrated beneath worktops without taking up valuable space in the kitchen. Internal dimensions of 64.0 x 45.0 x 43.0 cm provide usable storage space for day-to-day needs at the workstation. Liebherr supplies the appliance packaged with dimensions of 61.5 x 71.0 x 91.0 cm and a gross weight of 39.00 kg; it is manufactured at the Lienz plant.

93-litre net capacity with four storage shelves

With a net capacity of 93 litres (124 litres gross), the FRTCvg 1501 provides space for fresh produce right in the immediate working environment. Four shelves made from plastic-coated wire mesh, each with a load capacity of 45 kg, hold the produce, whilst an aluminium handle and LED ceiling lighting ensure easy, well-lit access. The door hinge can be fitted on the right-hand side.

Extended temperature range for flexible applications

The refrigeration compartment can be set from -2 °C to +15 °C, with a digital display on the outside. This range covers both standard cold storage and milder temperature control for sensitive products. Dynamic cooling using a recirculating air system distributes the cold air evenly throughout the interior, whilst automatic defrosting keeps maintenance to a minimum.

Energy-efficient in continuous operation

With an energy consumption of 0.600 kWh over 24 hours, or 219 kWh per year, the FRTCvg 1501 is one of the more energy-efficient models in the Liebherr catering range. Particularly during continuous operation directly at the workplace, where the unit runs round the clock, low energy consumption makes a noticeable difference to operating costs over time. In the event of faults, the unit issues visual and audible warnings; the Wi-Fi/LAN interface can be retrofitted if required.

Low-maintenance operation

The cooling unit defrosts fully automatically, eliminating the need for manual defrosting during operation. The mechanical lock secures the interior, whilst two adjustable feet ensure stability despite the compact design. The 3,000 mm long power cable provides sufficient flexibility for positioning the unit under the worktop, even if the nearest socket is a little further away. The low current rating of 2.0 A also protects older electrical installations in existing kitchens.

Robust features for everyday use

An aluminium handle, LED ceiling lighting and the door hinge, which can be fitted on the right-hand side, round off the features. The plastic-coated shelves, with a load capacity of 45 kg per shelf, are designed for daily use in a commercial setting without sagging under the weight of crates of drinks or containers of fresh produce.

As a second unit in the kitchen setup

In kitchens that already have a larger refrigerated storage cabinet for the main stock, the FRTCvg 1501 often serves as an additional unit, directly accessible at the workstation, for example for fresh produce required at short notice or for preparing drinks. This keeps walking distances short, whilst the main stock in the larger unit remains undisturbed and needs to be opened less frequently.
