At the serving counter, behind the bar or under the worktop in a small kitchen, there is often little space for a large fridge, yet the stock must remain visible and within easy reach. The Liebherr FRTvg 1511 under-counter catering table fridge, with a glass door and LED lighting, offers a clear view of the stored goods, high energy efficiency and maximum ease of use in day-to-day operation. With a net capacity of 93 litres, it is the most compact model in this range and fits where larger catering fridges simply won’t fit, for example under the serving counter or next to the coffee machine.

Compact and suitable for under-counter installation

With external dimensions of 85.2 x 60 x 64.8 cm (H x W x D) and a net weight of 45.90 kg, the FRTvg 1511 fits under worktops and into kitchen units where freestanding appliances would be too large. The internal dimensions are 64.0 x 45.0 x 43.0 cm. Two adjustable feet ensure a secure footing, even if the floor isn’t perfectly level.

Glass door with LED lighting

The insulated glass door with a plastic frame allows you to see the stored goods directly without having to open the door, saving energy and time during the hectic day-to-day running of the business. The LED ceiling lighting also ensures good visibility even in dim ambient light. The white plastic interior liner is easy to clean, whilst four plastic-coated shelves, each with a load capacity of 45 kg, provide space for various sizes of goods, from drinks bottles to smaller GN containers. The aluminium handle fits comfortably in the hand, and the door hinge is on the right and can be reversed.

Temperature control and operation

The dynamic cooling system maintains a stable temperature within the range of +1 °C to +15 °C, and defrosting takes place automatically. The temperature is displayed digitally on the outside; faults are indicated visually and audibly, ensuring that staff are immediately informed even during brief inspection rounds. The permissible ambient temperature ranges from +10 °C to 40 °C. The natural refrigerant R 600a is used, with a charge of 32 g; a Wi-Fi/LAN interface can be retrofitted if required.

Low energy consumption in a compact design

Energy consumption is 0.800 kWh per 24 hours, or 292 kWh per year – the lowest absolute figure in this selection of catering refrigeration units – which makes a noticeable difference to electricity costs when several units are in continuous operation. The unit is listed under EPREL registration number 2523073. The rated current is 2.0 A at 220 to 240 V and 50/60 Hz; the power cable is 3 m long, allowing for flexible positioning under the counter.
