With a net capacity of 102 litres and a temperature stability of ±3 °C maximum, this under-counter tabletop unit reliably maintains the set temperature; with external dimensions of just 59.7 x 60.5 x 81.9 cm (W x D x H), it fits on any laboratory worktop or under a counter.

Dynamic forced-air cooling with SafetyDevice

The SRTvg 1501 cools within a range of +3 °C to +16 °C and defrosts automatically; manual defrosting is not required. According to the manufacturer, the temperature deviates by a maximum of ±3 °C from the setting; a digital external display shows the current value at all times. If the temperature drops below +2 °C whilst set to +5 °C or warmer, the integrated SafetyDevice function takes control, stabilises the temperature and activates the alarm to protect the contents from freezing. In the event of a fault, the unit issues visual and audible warnings; a power failure alarm sounds when power is restored, and the unit also records the minimum and maximum temperatures. After the door has been open for one minute, the empty unit takes around 9 minutes to return to the set temperature at an ambient temperature of +25 °C.

Steel door and easy-to-clean interior

The housing and door are made of white steel; the seamlessly manufactured polystyrene inner container can be cleaned quickly and thoroughly thanks to its joint-free construction. The door closes automatically; it is hinged on the right and the hinge side can be changed independently if required. An antimicrobial handle with an opening mechanism and a mechanical lock complete the range of features. The galvanised steel levelling feet support the unit at altitudes of up to 2,000 m above sea level. 4 shelves for a total load capacity of up to 180 kg

The interior features 4 shelving levels, 3 of which are height-adjustable. The plastic-coated shelves offer a usable area of 45.0 x 42.5 cm and can each support up to 45 kg; the maximum total load capacity of the unit is 180 kg. This combination of multiple adjustable levels and robust load-bearing capacity makes the unit suitable even for larger vessels and containers.

Connectivity and durability

Via the retrofittable Wi-Fi and LAN interfaces, the SRTvg 1501 can be connected to Liebherr’s SmartMonitoring system as required, enabling digital recording of the storage temperature. A dry contact also enables connection to an existing building management system. Liebherr designs the unit for a 15-year service life and guarantees the availability of spare parts for at least 10 years. According to the master data, the SRTvg 1501 replaces the previous model, the LKUv 1610 001 25.

Connection and cooling capacity

The SRTvg 1501 operates with a rated power consumption of 100 W at 220–240 V and 50 Hz, fused at 10 to 16 A; the supplied connection cable is 3,000 mm long. The door seal can be replaced if necessary; the door closes automatically. When empty, the unit cools from +25 °C to +5 °C in around 43 minutes at an ambient temperature of +25 °C; heating from +5 °C to +10 °C takes around 63 minutes when empty. These figures are laboratory values in accordance with EN 60068-3 and are intended as a guide for practical use; they do not constitute a guarantee in individual cases.
