Non-ionic surfactants (detergents) enter wastewater and water bodies via cleaning products and laundry detergents. Their monitoring is a standard parameter in water analysis. The NANOCOLOR Non-ionic Surfactants 15 tube test from Macherey-Nagel delivers precise, time-saving results when used in conjunction with the appropriate NANOCOLOR photometers.
Precise method for low concentrations
The test covers a measurement range of 0.3–15.0 mg/L of Triton® X-100 and operates according to the TBPE method.
Compatible with standard NANOCOLOR photometers
The test can be analysed on the 500 D, Advance, PF-12Plus, UV/VIS II and VIS II instruments, including the NANOCOLOR VIS II (item no. 919650.1) and NANOCOLOR Advance (item no. 919750) spectrophotometers already available in our range.
Scope of application
The test is highly versatile: it can be used for wastewater, groundwater, surface water, production water, process water and drinking water. A sturdy box containing 20 round cuvettes is sufficient for 20 analyses. When stored at 15–25 °C, the shelf life from the date of manufacture is 2 years.
