Complete equipment for soil analysis on site and in the laboratory
The Macherey-Nagel VISOCOLOR soil case combines test strips, test kits and accessories for the reliable analysis of soil samples in a robust, portable case. It contains all the components required for the preparation of extracts from soil samples, suitable for use directly on site as well as in the laboratory.
Two parameters, multiple concentration levels
Included are pH-Fix 2.0–9.0 (100 tests, graduation in 0.5 steps from pH 2.0 to 9.0) and QUANTOFIX Ammonium (100 tests, graduation 0/10/25/50/100/200/400 mg/L NH₄⁺) for determining ammonium in soil extracts. A VISOCOLOR ECO pH-4.0–9.0 refill pack containing 450 tests is also included, so that sufficient test capacity is available even with intensive use.
Robust equipment for field use
Accessories include, amongst other things, shaking flasks, wide-necked flasks, measuring cylinders, beakers, a soil sieve (2 mm mesh size) and a digital pocket balance. Chemical solutions (CaCl₂, CAL, pyrophosphate) and folded filter papers (MN 616) for extract preparation are also included.
