The Nitras Medical Clip-On Cap 4010 is a white, one-size-fits-all, disposable head covering made from non-woven fabric, with a diameter of approximately 52 cm. It covers the hair and is suitable for contact with food (Food Edition). It is supplied in a polybag containing 100 pieces. The manufacturer is Nitras Medical, a brand of MCD Medical Care Dental GmbH based in Bedburg; the manufacturer states China as the country of origin.
Material and fit
The non-woven fabric is made from 100% polypropylene, is glass-fibre-free and breathable. The cap is gathered so that it adapts to the shape of the head. It is held in place by a double-sheathed cotton elastic band. The diameter of approximately 52 cm applies to all caps in the pack; there is no second size available in this version. The colour is white (colour code 1100).
Disposable and hygienic
The clip-on cap is a single-use item. After use, it is disposed of and not washed. The non-woven fabric is breathable; the gathered design pulls tight over the head and keeps the hair contained beneath the cap. The cap is suitable for contact with food.
Selection within the range
Nitras stocks these head coverings under item numbers 4010 (white), 4011, 4012 (blue) and 4013. The 4010 described here is the white version with colour code 1100. A polythene bag contains 100 caps. The manufacturer’s packaging unit consists of 10 bags containing a total of 1,000 pieces; it measures 0.34 x 0.25 x 0.345 m and weighs 2.6 kg. 80 of these units fit onto one pallet.
