Ultrasonic bath with heating for demanding cleaning tasks in the laboratory Anyone who regularly cleans instruments, laboratory glassware or small parts in a laboratory or industrial setting is familiar with the limitations of manual cleaning: residues in cannulas, valves or intricate geometries are almost impossible to remove completely by hand. The Bandelin SONOREX SUPER RK 1050 CH ultrasonic bath with heating provides a solution. With a total capacity of 90.0 l and a working capacity (usable capacity) of 60.0 l, it offers sufficient volume for larger batches and bulky items, such as those encountered when cleaning instruments, degassing solvents or cleaning laboratory glassware and small parts. SweepTec technology, heating and operation At the heart of the unit is the fully automatic SweepTec function, which prevents standing waves in the ultrasonic field and thus ensures a particularly uniform cleaning effect across the entire tank surface. The ultrasonic tank operates at a frequency of 35 kHz and delivers a peak ultrasonic power of 2,400 W at a rated ultrasonic power of 600 W. The integrated 1,950 W heater allows for an adjustable temperature range of 30 to 80 °C, which is particularly advantageous when degassing solvents or during temperature-assisted cleaning processes using cleaning and disinfection concentrates (e.g. from the TICKOPUR or STAMMOPUR ranges). The user-friendly rotary knob allows the cleaning duration and bath temperature to be set directly on the unit; the timer covers a range of 1 to 15 minutes (± 5 %) as well as continuous operation. A fill-level mark inside the tank makes it easier to fill the tank correctly during day-to-day use. Robust construction, safety and suitable accessories The SONOREX SUPER RK 1050 CH is robustly designed for practical use in the laboratory: the ultrasonic tank is made of welded 1.4404 stainless steel with a wall thickness of 2.0 mm, whilst the housing is made of 1.4301 stainless steel. Handles on the sides facilitate transport, and drainage is via a G ¾ ball valve with a 50 cm hose on the left-hand side of the unit. The 2 m power cable is permanently attached to the unit, which operates at 230 V~ (± 10 %), 50/60 Hz. The ultrasonic bath is classified as a Class I medical device in accordance with Regulation 2017/745/EU and is compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU, the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU and the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU; the housing meets degree of protection IP 32. The Bandelin SONOREX DIGITEC DT 1050 CH is a heated ultrasonic bath with a capacity of 90.0 l, a tank measuring 600 x 500 x 300 mm, 16 vibration systems and a peak power output of 2,400 W. The unit weighs 35.9 kg and is supplied in a carton on a Euro pallet.Tank and constructionThe tank is welded from 1.4404 stainless steel and is 2.0 mm thick. The working capacity is 60.0 l, and a level mark indicates the fill level. The unit’s external dimensions are 640 x 540 x 530 mm. The drain consists of a G ½ ball valve with a 50 cm hose on the left-hand side; the handles are located on the sides. The mains cable is 2 m long and permanently attached to the unit.Performance and heating16 vibration systems achieve a peak power of 2,400 W at 35 kHz, with a nominal power of 600 W. At the start of a run, the liquid can be degassed using DEGAS; a pulse function is also included. The display shows the remaining time and temperature. The duration can be set in increments of one minute up to 5 minutes, and thereafter in increments of 10, 15 or 30 minutes (± 5 %), or the bath can run continuously. It switches off automatically after 12 hours unless a button is pressed.Accessories for large batchesAccessories include the K 50 C insert basket (545 x 450 x 50 mm, mesh size 5 x 5 mm, up to 10 kg) with the D 1050 C lid, as well as the K 50 CS basket (530 x 445 x 50 mm, mesh size 12.5 x 12.5 mm, up to 40 kg) with the D 1050 CS lid. The K 50 CA and K 50 CV baskets hold nine full-face masks and six full-view masks respectively.
