Bandelin SONOREX DIGITEC DT 102 H Ultrasonic Bath with Heater, 3 L, 3235

The Bandelin SONOREX DIGITEC DT 102 H is a heated ultrasonic bath designed for use on a workbench: It has a capacity of 3.0 l, external dimensions of 260 x 160 x 250 mm and a bath temperature that can be set between 20 and 80 °C. It is operated via buttons. The display shows the remaining cleaning time as well as the setpoint and actual temperature.

Tank, heater and drain

The tank measures 240 x 140 x 100 mm internally and is made of 1.0 mm thick 1.4301 stainless steel; the surface is hard-chromed. A fill-level mark indicates the fill height; the working capacity is 2.0 l. The heater has a power rating of 140 W and is fitted with protection against delayed boiling and dry-run protection. The drain is located on the right-hand side as a G ¼ ball valve. The ball valve, hose connector and hose are included with the unit and are fitted to the drain.

Ultrasonic field with SweepTec and DEGAS

Two oscillation systems operate at 35 kHz with a peak power of 480 W and a rated power of 120 W. The SweepTec function prevents standing waves in the ultrasonic field, thereby ensuring more uniform ultrasonic treatment. The DEGAS rapid degassing function is activated at the start of the cleaning process. Degassed liquid further enhances the effect of the ultrasound. A pulse function is also available.

Timer, shut-off and operation

The cleaning duration can be selected in increments of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15 and 30 minutes (± 5 per cent); alternatively, the bath can run continuously. It switches off automatically 12 hours after the last button press. Handles on the sides make it easier to move the unit; the 2-metre power cable is permanently attached to the unit. The housing is made of 1.4301 stainless steel and is IP 33-rated.

DT 102 H comparison

The SONOREX smart ST 102 H features the same 240 x 140 x 100 mm tank; it operates at 40 kHz and is controlled via a touchscreen with twelve programme memory slots. If you need greater depth whilst maintaining the same footprint, consider the DT 103 H with a 240 x 140 x 150 mm tank, a 4.0-litre capacity and 200 W heating power. The DT 102 H is the ideal choice if button controls, a heating element and the smaller tank are sufficient.

Accessories for hanging

For the DT 102 H, there is the K 3 C stainless steel hanging basket (200 x 110 x 40 mm, mesh size 5 x 5 mm, load capacity up to 2 kg), the PK 2 C plastic basket (187 x 90 x 56 mm, mesh size 2 mm), the D 100 lid and 0.6-litre insert cups with lids made of glass, plastic or stainless steel. The KW 3 polyethylene hanging tray, complete with lid, is designed for use up to a maximum of 60 °C. The range is complemented by cleaning and disinfection concentrates from Bandelin.

Is the bath heated? Yes. The heater has a power rating of 140 W, and the temperature can be set between 20 and 80 °C. Protection against delayed boiling and dry-run protection are built in.

Is the drain included in the Scope of delivery? Yes. A ball valve, hose connector and hose are supplied with the unit and are fitted to the drain on the right-hand side.

Are there other plug types available? Yes, versions with UK plugs, Swiss plugs and US plugs for 115 V are available under separate order numbers. This offer is for the 230 V version with a CEE 7/7 EU plug.

What happens if the unit is left on? The bath switches off automatically 12 hours after the last button press.
