Bandelin SONOREX DIGITEC DT 31 H Ultrasonic Bath with Heater, 0.9 L, 65 °C, 3220

The heating element in the Bandelin SONOREX DIGITEC DT 31 H operates at a fixed temperature of 65 °C. This model does not have an adjustable temperature range. The inner dimensions of the tank are 190 x 85 x 60 mm and it has a capacity of 0.9 l.

70-watt heating element with fixed temperature

The heating power is 70 watts, and the bath temperature is set at 65 °C. A dry-run protection feature safeguards the heating element. If you wish to select the bath temperature yourself between 20 and 80 °C, the DT 52 H is a better choice; however, its tank is larger at 1.8 l. The DT 31 is available without a heater, but with otherwise identical dimensions.

Ultrasonic and timer

A vibration system delivers a peak power of 160 watts at 35 kHz (rated power 40 watts). SweepTec automatically distributes the sound field, and there is also a pulse function. This model does not feature DEGAS degassing. The cleaning duration can be set to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes (± 5 %), or the bath can run continuously. The unit switches off automatically after 12 hours without any button presses.

Dimensions and materials

The unit measures 205 x 100 x 180 mm externally and weighs 2.4 kg. The tank (0.8 mm) and housing are made of 1.4301 stainless steel; the tank has a fill-level mark for a working capacity of 0.6 l. There are no handles or drain; the mains cable is 2 m long and permanently fitted. The current consumption is 0.5 A at 230 V; the protection rating is IP 33.

Accessories

Compatible accessories include the K 08 insert basket (170 x 65 x 50 mm, up to 1 kg), the lid D 08, the perforated lid DE 08 for two insert beakers, and insert beakers with a rubber ring made of glass (0.4 l SD 04, 0.6 l SD 05) or polypropylene (0.4 l KB 04). The PD 04 sieve basket with sieve mesh (mesh size 0.63 x 0.63 mm) complements the beakers.
