An adjustable fan speed allows the recirculating air temperature control to be adapted to the specific application, supported by APT.line preheating chamber technology for uniform temperature distribution inside the chamber.

Compact design with safety features

The inner door, made of safety glass (ESG), allows visual inspection of the samples without opening the door; two stainless steel shelf grids are included as standard. A Class 3.1 temperature selector monitor in accordance with DIN 12880, featuring visual and audible alarms, ensures additional process reliability, for example during unattended runs. The KT 053 is designed to be stackable, a practical advantage when several units need to be accommodated in a laboratory with limited floor space.

Operation and Interfaces

Differences from the neighbouring series

Those requiring more volume but who also wish to operate without refrigerant will find significantly larger models in the KBECO series, up to 1,020 litres; however, these are only available for the 0 to 70 °C range, rather than the +4 °C to +100 °C range of the KT 053.
