Bürkle EasySampler solid-material sampler, V4A stainless steel, 870 mm, 5360-0600

Product information "Bürkle EasySampler solid-material sampler, V4A stainless steel, 870 mm, 5360-0600"

Free-flowing bulk materials such as fine granules or powders can be sampled quickly if the tool itself does not take up any time. The EasySampler opens its tip directly above the handle and discharges the sample immediately, without needing to be turned upside down or dismantled. The smooth, edge-free design prevents material from getting stuck in the tube and contaminating the next sample. Two lengths are available, with penetration depths of 870 and 917 millimetres, offering significantly different chamber lengths and sample volumes.

Direct emptying via the handle

The handle opens the tip of the sampler, allowing the material to be emptied directly without first having to turn the EasySampler upside down or dismantle it. This saves time during repeated sampling compared to samplers that must be dismantled for emptying, for example when taking a series of spot checks from several similar bags in succession. This mechanism is not designed for viscous or pasty substances that do not flow freely; in such cases, the folding sampler for all-layer samples is more suitable.

Smooth design with no sharp edges

Both the internal and external surfaces are designed without any sharp edges, ensuring that no residual material accumulates and enters the next sample. For thorough cleaning, the EasySampler can nevertheless be easily dismantled, allowing even fine residues between two different batches to be removed without the need for special tools. For cohesive, poorly flowing powders that stick to the walls despite the smooth design, a sampler such as the Scratcher powder sampler is the more robust choice.

Two lengths for different containers

The shorter version, with a total length of around 995 millimetres, achieves a penetration depth of 870 millimetres and holds 60 millilitres of sample in a single continuous chamber, which is sufficient for simple routine checks. The longer version, with a total length of approximately 1,039 millimetres, has a penetration depth of 917 millimetres and, with a 400-millimetre-long chamber, can hold up to 200 millilitres – ideal for larger sample volumes from deeper containers or when a single sample needs to suffice for several analyses at once.

Rapid sampling in day-to-day operations

Where samples are regularly taken from sacks or open containers as part of day-to-day operations, the time taken per sample is just as important as the sample quality. As the EasySampler empties without needing to be dismantled, a series of samples can be taken more quickly than with a sampler that has to be opened and reassembled each time. This also reduces the number of individual parts that can be lost or mixed up during sampling, which is a practical advantage, particularly when sampling outdoors or under time pressure.

Differences from other samplers in the range

The EasySampler is specifically designed for free-flowing, self-flowing materials. If, on the other hand, a powder sticks to the sides or clumps together, a sampler such as the Scratcher works more reliably because it actively dislodges the material rather than simply collecting it. For viscous, paste-like substances, on the other hand, the clamshell sampler features a more suitable opening mechanism. This distinction helps in making the right choice whenever the consistency of the material to be sampled changes during operation or when several types of material are to be tested in succession.

Typical areas of application

  • Sampling of free-flowing, self-flowing bulk materials such as fine-grained granules or powders
  • Rapid incoming goods and intermediate checks with direct discharge
  • Sampling in production environments where samples are changed frequently
  • Quality assurance for materials that must not leave any residue in the sampler
  • Sequential sampling from several identical bags or containers in succession

Service and procurement

The appropriate length depends on the container height and the required sample quantity. LT Laborhandel orders both lengths separately and provides advice on distinguishing between these and samplers for pasty or cohesive materials. If you have any queries regarding the appropriate model or the distinction from samplers for pasty or cohesive materials, please contact LT Laborhandel for further assistance.
