The Eppendorf Research ® plus 12-channel pipette (10–100 µl) is the ultimate tool for high-throughput applications. Anyone who fills entire 96-well plates on a daily basis knows that every gram of weight and every Newton of force counts. This model has been developed in accordance with the rigorous ‘PhysioCare Concept®’ and is extremely lightweight and perfectly balanced to minimise strain on the hand and arm muscles.

Perfect fit across all 12 channels

The spring-loaded tip cone is a truly unique feature. It compensates for user tolerances and ensures that all 12 tips fit absolutely tightly without you having to press the pipette down firmly or ‘hammer’ it into place. This not only guarantees reproducible results across all channels but also drastically reduces the force required to attach the tips.

SOFTeject: Ejection with half the force

Ejecting tips can be particularly strenuous when using 12 channels. The patented SOFTeject technology provides an intelligent solution to this problem: the outer tips are ejected slightly earlier than the inner ones. This staggered mechanism reduces ejection forces by 50 per cent compared with conventional pipettes. The entire instrument is made from highly durable Fortron®e plastic and is fully autoclavable without the need for disassembly.
