ESAB Welding Rod OK AlSi5 for aluminium welding
The ESAB OK AlSi5 (96022430U0) is a covered electrode for welding AlMgSi alloys, for example EN AW 6060/6063, 6005 and 6201, as well as AlSi5Cu and AlSi7Mg castings. It is supplied in a convenient pack of 10 and is suitable for repair, maintenance and fabrication.
Thanks to its silicon content, the electrode improves fluidity and reduces the susceptibility to hot cracking. This results in clean, low-porosity welds with high corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties.
Typical applications include repair and maintenance work on aluminium structures.
