The torques involved are minimal, which is why extremely sensitive bearings and sensor technology are required. The ROTAVISC lo-vi (“Low Viscosity”) is calibrated precisely for this purpose. With a measuring range of 1 to 6,000,000 mPas, it precisely detects even the slightest resistance. Thanks to its tried-and-tested measurement technology, the instrument delivers an accuracy of ± 1 % and a repeatability of ± 0.2 % of the full-scale value. The large 4.3" TFT display guides the user intuitively through the configuration. Perfect system integration

With this ‘Solution’ package, you don’t need to worry about compatibility. The viscometer is mounted directly above the thermostat’s bath using a special bracket. The measuring cup is immersed in the temperature-controlled bath, so that the sample is heated evenly from all sides. This is the ‘gold standard’ for temperature-dependent viscosity measurements, as it is significantly more accurate than simple hot plates or air-heated ovens.
