Precise temperature control without compromise

The IKA MATRIX Delta Plus is the specialist unit within the MATRIX family for demanding temperature control tasks that do not require shaking. This static heating and cooling unit is ideal for the incubation of samples, cDNA synthesis, enzymatic reactions (e.g. ligation) or the gentle denaturation of DNA, RNA and proteins. Thanks to powerful Peltier technology, heating rates of up to 5.5 °C/min and cooling rates of up to 5 °C/min (at ΔT relative to ambient temperature) are achieved, significantly reducing process times in the laboratory.

Intuitive operation and process reliability

The instrument features a large, clear display with an intuitive menu system that simplifies the programming of complex temperature ramps. Whether rapid heating or controlled cooling – the automatic control system reliably manages your protocols. A standout feature is the sturdy quick-release fastener: it allows tool-free replacement of the variable inserts (attachments) in seconds and automatically recognises the type fitted. This prevents operating errors and ensures that the temperature control parameters are always optimally adapted to the vessel.

Robustness and hygiene for continuous operation

The housing of the MATRIX Delta Plus is made from solid die-cast aluminium. This not only ensures extremely stable positioning and low vibration (relevant when used on tables alongside other equipment), but also guarantees excellent heat dissipation and durability. The smooth surfaces are easy to clean and resistant to typical laboratory splashes. The unit is designed for continuous operation and offers maximum safety thanks to integrated safety circuits.
