The IKA topolino is an ultra-compact mini magnetic stirrer designed specifically for mixing very small volumes (up to 250 mL). It is the ideal solution for laboratories with limited space, for use in fume cupboards, or for applications requiring a small, robust stirrer directly at the workstation.

Powerful and robust drive

Despite its minimal footprint, the topolino is equipped with a modern, brushless EC motor. This motor is not only wear-free and durable, but also offers excellent speed stability in the range from 0 to 1500 rpm. It is powerful enough to reliably mix even slightly viscous media in small vessels.

Chemical-resistant housing

The housing and base are made of durable polypropylene (PP) and are sealed. This provides high chemical resistance against most acids and solvents used in the laboratory and makes cleaning easy.

Areas of application

Thanks to its size, the topolino is ideal for mixing in beakers, vials or small Erlenmeyer flasks. It is a popular choice for preparing samples, dissolving reagents or for titrations that do not require heating.
