DWK DURAN Beaker, Tall Design with Graduations, without Spout, Borosilicate Glass 3.3, 50 ml to 1000 ml
The tall DURAN beaker without a spout has a smooth, continuous rim. It is available in seven sizes ranging from 50 ml to 1000 ml and is made of 3.3 borosilicate glass. The dimensions are the same as those of the version with a spout: The 1000 ml beaker measures 95 mm in diameter and 180 mm in height in both versions.Smooth rim instead of a spoutWithout a spout, the rim is uniformly shaped all the way round the beaker. Where a spout is required, the tall beaker with a spout is the alternative; for a wider design, the low-profile beaker is the option.MarkingsThe scale is fired onto the glass as a white ceramic print and features a labelling field. The scale is provided for volume reference.Sizes at a glanceThe range comprises 50 ml (38 x 70 mm), 100 ml (48 x 80 mm), 150 ml (54 x 95 mm), 250 ml (60 x 120 mm), 400 ml (70 x 130 mm), 600 ml (80 x 150 mm) and 1000 ml (95 x 180 mm), each specified as diameter by height. For these seven sizes, the dimensions are identical to those of the version with a spout. The 800, 2000 and 3000 ml sizes are only available with a spout.Choosing the sizeCompared to the low version, the tall version takes up less space in width: for the 250 ml size, the diameter is 60 mm instead of 70 mm; for the 1000 ml size, it is 95 mm instead of 105 mm. However, the cups are significantly taller, at 120 and 180 mm respectively.Typical applicationsPreparing solutions that remain in the beakerCollecting and storing liquids with labelled contentsLabelling the contents via the labelling fieldMeasuring volumes of up to 1,000 ml using the graduationsSizes and packagingOne pack contains 10 beakers. DWK DURAN Beaker, Tall Design with Graduations and Spout, Borosilicate Glass 3.3, ISO 3819, 50 ml to 3 l
The tall DURAN beaker has a diameter of 60 mm and a height of 120 mm when filled to 250 ml. The short version, with the same volume, has a diameter of 70 mm and a height of 95 mm. The tall, slimmer design takes up less space, features a spout and graduations, and is made from borosilicate glass 3.3. LT Laborhandel stocks ten sizes ranging from 50 ml to 3000 ml.Comparison of tall and short designsThe short version has a larger diameter for the same volume. Those who prefer wider vessels should look at the short version with a spout. Without a spout, the tall version is available as a beaker with a smooth rim.Markings and spoutThe graduations are fired onto the glass as white ceramic markings, and there is a space for labelling the contents. The spout is situated at the rim and guides the liquid during decanting. The design complies with ISO 3819.Sizes at a glanceThe range starts with the 50 ml beaker (38 mm diameter, 70 mm height) and extends through 100 ml (48 x 80 mm), 250 ml (60 x 120 mm) and 600 ml (80 x 150 mm) up to the 1-litre beaker with a diameter of 95 mm and a height of 180 mm. These are followed by 2000 ml (120 x 240 mm) and 3000 ml (135 x 280 mm). Compared with the low-profile version, the tall version saves space: a 1-litre cup has a diameter of 95 mm instead of 105 mm, but at 180 mm it is 35 mm taller than the low-profile version.Typical applicationsPreparing and mixing solutionsCollecting liquidsDecanting via the spoutLabelling the contents via the labelling fieldSizes and packagingUp to 2000 ml, a pack contains 10 beakers; for 3000 ml, it contains 2. The table lists the dimensions and order number for each size.Selecting the sizeThe 800, 2000 and 3000 ml sizes in this range are available with a spout; the version without a spout is only available up to 1000 ml.VolumeØ (mm)Height (mm)MPNPack size (pieces)50 ml387021116170410100 ml488021116240910150 ml549521116290610250 ml6012021116360210400 ml7013021116410110600 ml8015021116480410800 ml90175211165303101 l95180211165406102 l120240211166308103 l1352802111668052Technical detailsMaterialBorosilicate glass 3.3Shapetall shape, with spoutStandardISO 3819Volume50 ml to 3000 ml, 10 sizesMarkingsFired white ceramic markings with labelling fieldPackaging unit10 pieces up to 2,000 ml, 2 pieces for 3,000 mlScope of deliveryMugs in the selected sizePackaging unit per size: see tableIndividual requirements and procurement serviceWe can source other sizes or larger quantities on request. DWK DURAN Beaker, Low Profile with Spout, Borosilicate Glass 3.3, ISO 3819, 5 ml to 10 l
The smallest DURAN beaker in the low-profile design measures 22 mm in diameter and has a capacity of 5 ml; the largest holds 10 l and has a diameter of 217 mm. There are 13 further sizes in between. What they all have in common is their low, wide design, the spout and the use of 3.3 borosilicate glass. The design is standardised in ISO 3819.Design and spoutFor the same volume, the short beaker is wider and lower than the tall beaker. The 250-ml beaker has a diameter of 70 mm and a height of 95 mm. The spout at the rim makes decanting easier. Those requiring a slimmer design will find it in the tall beaker with a spout.MarkingsFrom 25 ml upwards, the beakers feature graduations in the form of a fired-on white ceramic print, with a labelling field. The 5 ml and 10 ml beakers have no graduations and no Retrace code. The graduations are intended as a guide when filling the beaker and are not a substitute for a measuring cylinder or volumetric flask.Sizes at a glanceThe small beakers, ranging from 25 to 150 ml, measure 34 to 60 mm in diameter and 50 to 80 mm in height. The medium sizes, ranging from 250 to 1000 ml, vary from 70 mm in diameter and 95 mm in height to 105 mm in diameter and 145 mm in height. From 2000 ml onwards, they become large: 132 x 185 mm for 2 l, 152 x 210 mm for 3 l, 170 x 270 mm for 5 l and 217 x 350 mm for 10 l. For the large beakers, the height must be taken into account when planning for shelves and fume cupboards.Typical applicationsCollection of liquids and filtratesPreparing and mixing solutionsHeating of solutionsDecanting small and medium quantities via the spoutDispensing of very small volumes in 5 ml and 10 ml sizesSizes and packagingUp to 2000 ml, one pack contains 10 beakers. For 3000 ml, there are 4; from 5000 ml, there is one beaker. All sizes, with dimensions and order numbers, are listed in the table.VolumeGraduationØ (mm)Height (mm)MPNPack size (pieces)5 mlNo22302110607011010 mlno26352110608041025 mlyes34502110614061050 mlyes426021106170610100 mlyes507021106240210150 mlyes608021106290810250 mlyes709521106360410400 mlyes8011021106410310600 mlyes9012521106480610800 mlyes100135211065305101 lyes105145211065408102 lyes132185211066301103 lyes15221021106680745 lyes170270211067306110 lyes2173502110686021Technical detailsMaterialBorosilicate glass 3.3Shapelow-profile shape, with spoutStandardISO 3819Volume5 ml to 10 l, 15 sizesGraduationfrom 25 ml, white ceramic mark fired onto the surface with a labelling fieldWithout graduations5 ml and 10 ml (without Retrace Code)Packaging unit10 pieces up to 2000 ml, 4 pieces for 3000 ml, 1 piece from 5000 mlScope of deliveryBeaker in the selected sizePackaging unit per size: see tableCompatible withFor mixing by swirling, LT Laborhandel stocks the DURAN Erlenmeyer flask; for storage, the DURAN graduated laboratory bottle.Individual requirements and procurement serviceWe can source further sizes, larger quantities or suitable laboratory glassware for your drain on request.
