The Liebherr MRFvc 5501 is a commercial drinks fridge designed for businesses that need to reliably keep large quantities of bottles and cans at serving temperature. Forced-air cooling for consistent temperatures

The dynamic forced-air cooling system distributes the cold air throughout the entire interior, ensuring that the drinks on each of the five shelves are cooled evenly. The temperature range extends from +2 °C to +9 °C, allowing the temperature to be precisely adjusted to suit the product range and serving conditions. Even after restocking with warm goods, the set temperature is quickly restored. The automatic defrosting system saves staff the trouble of manual defrosting and keeps the interior permanently ready for use.

Robust steel housing with recessed handle

The housing and door are made of steel and are therefore designed to withstand the rigours of the catering and retail sectors. The inner container, made of white plastic, has a smooth surface and is easy to clean. The integrated recessed handle allows the door to be opened and closed comfortably, without protruding handles getting in the way or causing obstruction in narrow aisles. The door is right-hinged and reversible, allowing the unit to be flexibly adapted to the available installation space and traffic flow within the premises.

Efficient operation with R 600a refrigerant

The MRFvc 5501 operates using the environmentally friendly refrigerant R 600a. It is connected to a standard 220–240 V mains socket with a rated current of 2.0 A. This allows the unit to be integrated into sales areas, storerooms or counter areas without any special installation work. With external dimensions of 168.4 cm in height, 74.7 cm in width and 76.9 cm in depth, it offers a particularly generous capacity in relation to its footprint.

The capacity is tailored to businesses with high throughput: it can hold up to 708 x 0.33-litre cans, 354 x 0.5-litre PET bottles, 178 x 1.0-litre bottles or 130 x 1.5-litre bottles. The five shelves can be adjusted to accommodate different container heights, ensuring that both small cans and large returnable bottles can be stored neatly and securely. This means the entire stock can be viewed at a glance at all times, which significantly simplifies restocking and stock control during day-to-day operations.

Day-to-day handling and maintenance

With a net weight of 74.40 kg and its wide, stable design, the MRFvc 5501 is designed for a fixed installation within the premises. The smooth interior surfaces made of white plastic and the removable shelves facilitate regular cleaning, as required in a commercial environment. As the recirculating air system maintains a stable temperature even with frequent access, the unit is particularly suitable for high-traffic areas where the door is opened and closed many times throughout the day. The reversible door hinge allows the opening direction to be optimally aligned with a counter, wall or neighbouring units.
