The straight inlet liner 20956 is intended for Shimadzu GCs of the types 17A, 2010, 2014 and 2030. It is made of borosilicate glass, has standard deactivation and contains deactivated glass wool. The pack comprises 5 liners.
Construction and dimensions
The liner is straight and therefore has the same cross-section over its entire length, without a taper. The inner diameter is 3.5 mm, the outer diameter 5.0 mm and the length 95 mm. This gives a wall thickness of 0.75 mm. The volume is 0.914 mL. The liner is made of borosilicate glass, and the inlet type is split/splitless. The deactivation is the standard version, and the liner contains deactivated glass wool. The wool is therefore already inserted and does not have to be ordered separately. Deactivation refers to the treatment of the glass surface so that analytes adhere to it less. Among the liners in the shop, the grades standard and premium occur, and this one belongs to the standard grade.

Shimadzu 220-90784-00 is considered a comparable part number from another manufacturer.
