Colour-coding reduces the risk of mix-ups, particularly where several people or work areas are operating simultaneously. Unigloves Green Pearl are green, latex-free, single-use nitrile gloves with textured fingertips for a secure grip, even during wet or oily tasks. The palm is at least 0.06 mm thick, and the fingertips are at least 0.08 mm thick. The rolled cuff provides additional support at the wrist and makes the gloves easier to put on.
Latex-free and low in proteins
Green Pearl gloves are completely latex-free and, according to the manufacturer, contain no proteins. The powder residue is less than 2 mg per glove. The median tensile strength is at least 6.0 N both before and after artificial ageing.
Chemical protection in accordance with EN 374, Category III, Type C
The glove is certified as a chemical protection glove in accordance with EN ISO 374-1 (Category III, Type C). A permeation level of 6 (the highest level on the scale) was determined for 40% caustic soda in accordance with EN 374-4.
Medical grade in accordance with EN 455
The Green Pearl gloves comply with EN 455 (Parts 1–4) for single-use medical gloves and are certified as PPE in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/425 (type examination Module B & Module C2, notified body SATRA Technology Europe, #2777). An AQL of 1.5 is achieved in the 1,000 ml water tightness test.
Areas of use
Green Pearl gloves are suitable for use in laboratories, doctors’ surgeries and dental practices, as well as in food processing. Green is one of several colours in the Unigloves Pearl range – the specific colour-coding according to work area, shift or process step helps to prevent mix-ups between different workstations, for example when several glove colours are in use simultaneously within the same facility.
