The WTW inoLab ® pH 7110 BNC (MPN 1AA120) is the minimalist solution for routine laboratories seeking the highest measurement accuracy without unnecessary complexity. This model focuses purely on the measurement task: it offers the same high-quality measurement electronics as its larger counterparts in the 7310 series (accuracy of up to ±0.005 pH), but does without elaborate documentation functions or data storage. The key technical difference with this model is the BNC connector. Unlike the DIN plug normally used by WTW, the BNC socket offers maximum compatibility. It allows existing specialised electrodes from other manufacturers to continue to be used, or the use of sensors with standard BNC plugs, without the need for expensive adapter cables.

AutoRead and operating concept

Operation is kept to the essentials: a large, segmented LCD display shows all values at a glance, whilst the smooth, easy-to-clean keypad minimises input errors. The “AutoRead” function ensures process reliability: it monitors the drift of the electrode and only releases the measured value once it has stabilised. This eliminates subjective reading errors and guarantees reproducible results, even when used by less experienced staff.

Calibration and Timer

Although designed as an entry-level instrument, the 7110 supports 1- to 3-point calibration with automatic buffer recognition (WTW TEC or DIN/NIST). A built-in calibration timer periodically reminds the user of the need for recalibration to maintain measurement quality over the long term. Temperature compensation is carried out separately via two 4 mm banana sockets, allowing the connection of external temperature sensors.
