The Bandelin SONOREX SUPER RK 514 BH has a total capacity of 18.7 litres and a working capacity of 12.5 litres, a noticeably greater capacity, whilst remaining part of the SUPER RK series operated by a rotary handle.Four oscillation systems for larger batchesAt an operating frequency of 35 kHz, 860 watts of peak power and 215 watts of rated power are distributed across four oscillation systems; the SweepTec function ensures that, even with this larger tank volume, no standing waves are generated and cavitation acts uniformly, regardless of whether there are several smaller objects or a single large beaker in the bath.600-watt heater for demanding cleaning tasksThe heater covers a range of 30 to 80 °C, with dry-run protection to prevent damage if the liquid level is too low. Cleaning duration and temperature can be adjusted independently using two rotary knobs; the timer ranges from 1 to 15 minutes (± 5 %) or continuous operation for longer cleaning cycles.Larger tank than the smaller SUPER RK modelsThe tank and housing are made of 1.4301 stainless steel with a thickness of 1.0 mm; the internal dimensions of 325 x 300 x 200 mm offer significantly more space than the smaller SUPER RK models. A concentrate from Bandelin’s TICKOPUR range is suitable for the cleaning fluid; with this volume, a more generous refill quantity is recommended. Before the first cycle with freshly prepared medium, a short run-in period in continuous operation helps to remove trapped air. The Bandelin SONOREX DIGITEC DT 514 BH has a tank 200 mm deep. Its internal dimensions are 325 x 300 x 200 mm and it has a capacity of 18.7 l, of which 12.5 l is working capacity. It is fitted with a heating element, push-button controls and a drain.200 millimetres deep instead of 150The base area is the same as that of the DT 514 H, but the tank is 50 mm deeper. This increases the total capacity from 13.5 to 18.7 l and the working capacity from 9.0 to 12.5 l. With external dimensions of 355 x 325 x 385 mm, the unit is correspondingly taller and weighs 9.7 kg. The tank (1.0 mm) and housing are made of 1.4301 stainless steel.Heating and safety featuresThe 600-watt heating element is adjustable from 20 to 80 °C; the setpoint and actual temperature are shown on the display. For protection, the heater has built-in delayed-boiling protection and dry-run protection. The DT 514 operates without a heater but with the 150 mm deep tank.Ultrasound and timerFour vibration systems generate a peak power of 860 watts at 35 kHz (215 watts rated power). SweepTec automatically prevents standing waves in the ultrasonic field; there is also a pulse function and DEGAS rapid degassing. The time can be set to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes (± 5 %) or to continuous operation. The unit switches off after twelve hours if no button is pressed.Operation and connectionThe water drains via the G 1/2 ball valve on the left-hand side; a hose connector and hose for installation are included.
