Bandelin SONOREX SUPER RK 1028 C: Ultrasonic bath for professional laboratory cleaning
The SONOREX SUPER RK 1028 C is an ultrasonic bath manufactured by Bandelin with a total capacity of 45 litres and a usable working volume of 30 litres. It operates at a frequency of 35 kHz, with a nominal ultrasonic power of 500 W and a peak power of 2000 W. This makes the unit suitable for the intensive cleaning of large quantities of laboratory equipment, instruments and small parts in laboratories, workshops and industrial cleaning processes. The timer is controlled via an easy-to-use rotary knob with a range of 1 to 15 minutes (± 5 per cent) and a continuous operation setting.

The SONOREX SUPER RK 1028 C’s SweepTec function ensures fully automatic, uniform distribution of the ultrasonic field and prevents standing waves in the tank – an advantage when objects of different shapes need to be cleaned simultaneously and uniformly. A liquid level indicator helps ensure the tank is filled correctly during operation.
Robust construction for continuous operation
The ultrasonic tank is made of welded 1.4404 stainless steel with a wall thickness of 2.0 mm; the housing is made of 1.4301 stainless steel. The housing has an IP 32 protection rating. For draining, the model features a G 3/4" ball valve with a 50 cm long drain hose on the left-hand side of the unit. The SONOREX SUPER RK 1028 C is the version without heating; if you require a heated version, this is available in the SONOREX range as model RK 1028 CH.
